Called in for a beer and a look around and ended up eating there. Went for a few different tapas including cod fritter, baby octopus and pork in peanut and apple. Probably the nicest tasting food I have ever experienced. The place doesn’t look much from the outside at all but don’t let that put you off. This place is a must and I’ll definitely return. Thanks to all the staff.

Treat Cafe Bar

A chill-out, cafe bar with live music in the evening and a great range of coffees, freshly made juices and smoothies, indulgent shakes and cocktails. Our food ranges from home-made pizza to bespoke sandwiches, paninis, sharing platters and fantastic cakes

We were surprised to see a restaurant and bar in Punta Limones rated no 14 in all of Lanzarote. We have been visiting this part of the island off and on for 30+ years and Have to say that Punta Limones has always been a bit shabby tired and uncared for, so not well known for its cuisine and fine dining, but after the good reviews on TA we just had to give it a try ! What a disaster. We knew where this restaurant was located as there was another there previously. At first glance It presented nothing very special in the square. We sat down at an outside Table, where we had to change my flimsy Plastic chair for a more solid one from inside as I am not a lightweight ! At first glance the menu is slightly expensive, but that’s ok for what we hoped would be a treat ahead. Treats wasn’t full, so Service was quick. Drinks ordered we opted to share a pizza and Treat salad. “ sorry pizza is off the menu .... no doughPrepared “ Ok we thought a bit puzzled but try again. We both went for Penn pasta with sardines Pine nuts and a Treat salad. What arrived was two plates of gloop ! The pasta was disintegrated overcooked and even chewy in parts, which does indicate some microwave Involvement with leftover food! If I closed my eyes to avoid the ghastly presentation, it tasted ok ! €10 each for the pasta plus one salad one glass of wine and a Sloe gin fizz...€40Any decent food critic would have sent it back and said no to a replacement but we We were hungry, and the salad was ok !!( on reflection it probably would have been helpful if we had sent it back ?) On paying we were asked how it was and we softened our comments to “Pasta over cooked & very disappointed”There was no reply from the waitress and She obviously ? Did not pass our comments to a french sounding lady who we thought could be in charge, as we left without anyone coming back to the table to enquire why we were disappointed. After this experience We feel that the high rating score no where near reflects this restaurants real rating, which should, based on our one visit be near the bottom. Needless to say, we shall not be experiencing the Treat evening offer. To stay in a ‘posher’ Punta Limones after redevelopment Treats offering to the cruise customers will have to drastically improve.( in our experience why would cruise customers eat & drink off the ship anyway where fine dining is the norm !!??) I don’t normally await proprietors comments, but looking at their responses to the previous poor ratings, it will be interesting to see their explanation. Thank you for leaving a review. I'm glad we had more sturdy chairs so that you were able to swap.As a small restaurant, with an extensive daytime and nightime menu, we do find that we occasionally run out of ingredients while we prepare new ones. We are sorry that we were preparing more pizza dough when you wanted to order pizza. You are right, the waitress should have passed your comments about the pasta on to the kitchen. However, we do do a table check after serving. If you had said your food was not acceptable at that point we would have been more than happy to change it.Our pricing is pretty standard for similar restaurants, especially as all of our food is homemade and freshly prepared. Two pasta dishes at 10 euros, a house salad at 8.50, a glass of wine at 3.00 and a slow gin cocktail at 6.50 adds up to under 40 euros so there is a little exaggeration on the price from you and the portions are substantial.Every restaurant makes mistakes. We try to make as few as possible, but when we do, we like to rectify them if we are given the chance. I wish you had.As can be seen from our other reviews, we have many, many very satisfied customers. It is a shame that we were not able to please you.If you would like to come and talk to us, we would love to offer you a discount on our evening dining menu so that you can see why people are raving about our food, service and entertainment.

Our first couple of nights in playa Blanca the food was at best average .. and then after a bit of research we landed on Sergios. From the front it looks nothing special but inside you find a light and airy space with a fantastic view across the harbour where you can watch the ferries come and go and the sun set.The food is superb and different , not the same as you’ll find in the many restaurants lining the harbour. We had crispy lamb with vegetables in Chinese pancakes to start and then slow cooked goat deep fried in bread . Prices very reasonable. Service friendly and efficient , good choice of wines .
