Amazing Staff and Property
Reviewed By Ricardo TVisiting a place you've never been is always a challenge for everyone travelling. But this time is an exception. I was on my way on an early road trip to Blue Paseo Grande in Concepcion Grande, Naga City for a short stay. Thinking that instead of putting the whole challenge of finding the place in me, I decided to call the mobile number listed on the booking confirmation. I came to talk to an individual who seems so accommodating and even offered an extra mile of service of fetching me if I am already in the area of Naga City. I told the person that I am still on my way to the place and would like to get some hints to easily find the place. The person gave me a clear directions to follow which I was able to do so. Upon arrival at Blue Paseo Grande, I was greeted and swiftly escorted to the room as reserved. The place is located away from the city that makes it ideal place to rest. Environment is good, people are courteous and most of all everyone seems to be very respectful. I ordered food for breakfast and lunch and gave instructions to what time it should be brought up to my room and some requests very important to me when eating. Guess what, the food arrived exactly to the time I wanted it to be and WOW all requests were delivered with some thoughts of if we wanted something not included in the menu, they can prepare it for us. For some reason, I wanted to change room. So I called the reception if I can be accommodated for the room change. In flash of 5 minutes the room key to another room was handed to me by the receptionist. Since the car that is supposed to serve me failed to come, I inquired with the receptionist on how I can be able to reach the next city(Iriga) from the property. The receptionist said that I need to go to the bus or van terminal by jeepney to Panganiban and tricycle to the terminal but if I need to use a taxi, they are glad to assist me. So I requested for the use of taxi instead. Also, I requested for my room and food bill be prepared and delivered together with my ordered food for the next day. On my check out day, I had my bill and food delivered as instructed. Request for a car was endorsed by the night shift to the next shift. The eye on details of the staff is just too amazing. Everything went smoothly. Car is ready when I went down. I hopped in the car ordered for my next destination. I was impressed with the level of service this particular property has and a last WOW I found out was the owner of the property is driving me in a Land Rover because no taxi is available for that particular requested time and the same person who answered my call for direction at 4:30 in the morning. Being served by people with sincerity brings a lot of satisfaction, fulfillment and a sense of gratitude to these unsung heroes of the property. I highly recommend Blue Paseo Grande a place to stay.

Reviewed By RJJJJJJJThank goodness we stayed here for only a night. The owner was nice but the place was bad and under renovation. I did not know the rooms have shared bathroom. The bathroom was so small and reeked of bad odor. The stairs and the floor squeaks every time you step on it. They even forgot to give us the registration form when we arrived, the staff kept knocking in our room in the middle of the night. What's worse was there were rats above the ceiling. I could not sleep as I was at the top of the bunk bed I could hear them running around. Terrible experience.

Reviewed By nemos832Spent one night at Borj place. Location is very good for bus commuters, just across the bus terminal, walking distance to SM. Not elderly friendly. It is a 3 story walk up to the rooms. Streetside parking. No hot water for shower. Lacking bathroom space for toiletries and towel racks. Ok for very short stay but not for elderly and PWDs.

Needs much improvement
Reviewed By sofos_viatoremStayed in the Presidential suite and was disappointed for what we got for the price they charge for the room; $5000 peso (~$100USD). Additional charges apply for 5 or more guests. Pros: The room is quite large and spacious to relax in. The room has a queen and a full size bed which will accommodate a family of 5 just fine. There was space in the room to fit a twin size bed to accommodate additional guest also. The A/C works great and kept the room cool all day. We had a oscillating fan that helped distribute the cool air in the room to keep it nice and comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful. I would give them a 5/5. Cons: The bathroom is in dire need of help; it needs a complete remodel. The bathroom has two standing showers and one jacuzzi tub. The tub is only for display only and can't be use. The tub is so large that it takes up about 60% of the bathroom. One of the showers is on an elevated platform with a normal drain but the drain leads to a small opening at the base of the platform which floods the bathroom floor with the used dirty soapy water which then flows into a floor drain in the opposite side of the bathroom. After taking a shower, the floor is completely flooded about an 1/2 inch (1.5cm) high and walking across the floor because a safety hazard. We almost slipped a few time walking across the floor. In order to not fall, we had to ask the staff to provide us a mop and a bucket so we can mop up after each shower. The other shower is also elevated but as you step into the shower, the floor sinks about an inch. We did not use this shower in fear of cracking the base of the shower. I am not a health inspector or plumbing specialist for the Philippines but I don't think this is the right way to drain water from the showers. I had gone to another hotel/resort near by and this is not the way they had their drains setup We upgraded to the Presidential suite from the another room hoping it would be a better experience but it was not. I do not write reviews at all but this time I had to do it. I hope this review will help the owner, if they read it, to improve conditions of their hotel. In a nutshell, we will not stay in this place the next time we are visiting the town.

Cleaning of Facilities is always the first order of the day 3. highly recommended for those who like escape from technology 4. Island Hopping is a Must. 5. Kudos to Chef Edmundo, Chef Philip, Chef Eddie, Chef Sandy and Chef Jason for the Authentic Bicolano Cuisine. Negative points 1. Communication Facilities for Guest needs to Improve. Signal for Globe and Smart is only Available at Cabin Area 2. Some of the Facilities and equipments needs updating

The location of this resort is just a few steps away from the beach. The swimming pool was also nice and clean. We had an spacious cabana for all the family. We were 17 people. They also provided us with barbecue and water. Great service and location. We will definitely go back.

Reviewed By kit bIf you happen to see good reviews about this place, don't believe it. The owners probably made it up. Both owners are rude. You will surely experience extremely bad accommodation. My gf and I even felt harassed by the old man because he was staring at us as if we did something wrong when in fact we were just walking at the lobby. We didn't feel safe at all. We celebrated our anniversary in this place because it's cheap but it ended up ruining our special day. We didn't even bother to have a dip in their pool- which is very small btw. You might as well consider buying an inflatable pool than swimming in their pool lol I guess this is the outcome when you're not properly trained to handle business like this. The owners definitely don't belong to this industry. Their attitude shows. I hope they will have guests that will put them into their place and is "patola" enough to exchange rude words to them as well. Karma will get to you soon. Cheers ;)
