Ludwig's has inside and outside (Bier Garten) seating. Inside is mostly long picnic-bench-like tables that you share with other people, as you would in some restaurants in Germany. The server we had was very friendly, helpful and efficient. There are not a lot of options to chose from, but what we had, was excellent.

A lovely evening in a wonderful restaurant with a terrific atmosphere. The food was quite good, and the prices were reasonable. The service was very competent, and we enjoyed ourselves sitting outside in a cafe atmosphere with a ready heat lamp above if needed. Nice meal!Hello,Thank you so much for the feedback, we look forward to serving you again soon!Thank you,Andrew ByersGeneral Manager(408)[email protected]

The food was delish! It tasted just like my grandmother's Austrian cooking and like being in Vienna. In fact, strudel was best we've had. I had schnitzel and hubby had goulash. So good. Also, good German beer and mulled wine. Yum!

One of our regular spots. Every person we have ever taken there has always enjoyed their food. The food is clean and fresh. The restaurant has a very European feel, menu is on blackboards along with on the side wall. You order, pay, then take a seat wherever you like, indoor or outdoor. You help yourself to you utensils and water. They even have games if you would like to play. Oh, I almost forgot their desserts!!!...I could go on and on.

Located in Almaden Valley, La Foret is a fine French dining establishment in a creekside, old country setting.
Superb atmosphere. We ordered the special for the day and a buffalo entree, both were excellent. Absolutely cooked to perfection with exquisite taste to each. Service was outstanding, our waiter was polite, fast and friendly. This was our first time here, it will not be the last.
