The Petaluma Airport is a small airport right in the heart of the Sonoma wine country. The airport's Two Niner Diner has a great view of the runway and you can either sit inside or outside. I ate a delicious fried calamari sandwich while sitting outside on a beautiful sunny day watching the planes come and go.

We have eaten here twice and have been impressed both times. Good breakfast. We had dinner here last night and discovered that they make their own potato, macoroni, and cole slaw salads fresh every morning. and they are really good. You know how god awful those tub salads are, what a refreshing difference. The prices are fair, the service is very pleasant. We do not understand the grousing about the lived-in feel and decor. Sheesh! it is a local diner, not a doctor's office.We feel that they deserve your business. Worth going out of your way for a diner experience.

Delicious and friendly service. For starters, the calamari was out of this world! Soo soft and melt in your mouth goodness. It reminded me of my Grandfather's recipe and it was a wonderful memory to have. The batter for the calamari and fish was fantastic. The chips were perfectly fried and they had a coconut shake which was amazing! Fresh fish from the Pacific, the quality and ingredients cannot be beat.

Stopped here for lunch. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The service was quick. The food was okay - unfortunately kind of tasteless. I wonder if it may have been better if we had breakfast. The place was clean, and like I said the staff was great, just wish the food had been tastier.
