We went here for dinner after a long day of meetings. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable. The service was truly top notch - we had Olivia and she was charming and friendly which really elevated our experience. She had great drink recommendations and could tell us a lot about the food beyond what the actual ingredients were - for example the salmon comes from some specific place (its been a few weeks so I forget the details). I had the salmon and spinach and it was truly excellent. Perfectly cooked which is hard with fish if you ask me. We had a really good dinner, didn't feel rushed, and enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere. It was a tiny bit pricy ($50 for a cocktail, salmon and side of spinach) for one person but it was so well done and the service so great, it was worth it. I would definitely eat here again on my next trip to LA. It was the perfect amount of elevated dining experience without being stuffy or pretentious. And frankly I just love great service - and Olivia really delivered a friendly and comfortable dining experience that we all had such a good time. My fellow diners all had such a good time!

This restaurant was highly recommended by a frequent customer of theirs, and it seems , a discerning one.I was disappointed to be honest. My pasta was not as flavorful as expected and too oily.Unfortunate, because I was expecting finger kissing deliciousness. The service was nice and the ambience is nice, but nothing to rave about. My small opinion.

The Little Door

Two simple wooden doors open up to quite a buzz in an otherwise romantic courtyard, where a colorful crowd hangs at the bar and lingers at coveted patio tables. Inside, seats spread throughout the candlelit house-turned-restaurant with intimate decor. Org

Behind the large doors is a beautiful charming restaurant. It is magical with the trees and lights. The service was absolutely wonderful. The food was amazing. Very interesting menu. We had several items to try. This is a special dining place. Not your average restaurant. I would recommend this place for that special evening or for a great dinner.

Freshly made pasta with over 15 different types available. We have traveled to Italy over 7 times from the North to the South and two of the pastas were new to me. I had a wonderful Bolognese while my spouse enjoyed a black Seafoood Risotto. Both were beyond our expectations. This food is just outstanding and compares to those at much higher prices. If you don't enjoy this place you don't know "real" Italian food. Not a typical red sauce place just so good and the Bolognese which is different everywhere was exceptional. Wine selections were not special, just adequate but reasonable pricing. Salads were excellent and large enought to share
