We have been going to Phoenix Garden since it was over in La Verne. More than 25 years. It has always been the place we go for special occasions or whenever we want a friendly atmosphere and good meal!

I tried this place after shopping at Target. it's a good lunch place vs the fast food option. Food is "Americanized", but good.

Going to college in San Dimas, Royal Panda was a regular spot for students. It was the perfect college eatery: a truck load of food (enough for a second or third meal) at a super cheap price. I particularly liked the Tangerine Chicken, a slightly different take on Orange Chicken just a little sweeter. You can order a single entree with two sides (rice, noodles, etc.) and what you get is a large to-go box stuffed to capacity. The seating is pretty run down; it's definitively meant to be more of a to-go place.I tout this a great eatery for college students, but it really is just a good Chinese to-go restaurant overall.
