Went here for HH on a Wednesday and had a great time. There were 5 of us and had been boating for the afternoon. Got a good table on the patio overlooking the Dana Pt Harbor. Hostess and server were very good - friendly and helpful with their menu. Their HH menu is extensive!!! Includes the usual appetizers and some entree size meals including fish and chips. We had the HH margaritas and they were very good.Prices for HH were reasonable, good views of the harbor, plenty of free parking. Will be going back!

Second time weâve been here for happy hour. Really good food and good drinks in a beautiful setting. Experience is marred by poor service by two bar tenders/waiters trying to take care of everyone. Waited 15-20 minutes for our car, again indicating a staffing problem. Valet guys were all running and could not keep up with the volume. GM needs to address these issues. Flying in from New Orleans, wanted a good relaxing meal. Hostess seated us quickly in a booth and the place was jumping. Our server KAR came quickly to take our drink order and informed us wine was $5/glass.and we were happy to order and enjoy. The place was noisy, probably due to Wednesday wine specials. Our entrees were enjoyable.

It is very difficult to beat starting your day with a well prepared brunch/breakfast while you watch countless surfers ride the waves through the tall windows next to your table. Our server was prompt and pleasant, the food was of high quality and the outstanding view of the rolling waves lulled you into a relaxed state. If you are staying at the hotel, this is a must and frankly it is a destination by itself. We definitely recommend.Thank you for this wonderful review. Great place near the Dana Point Harbor This is more of a locals place and the have our door seating The breakfast menu is large and always great On this occasion I tried the jalapeño cheddar sausage and eggs and was not disappointed I substituted tomatoâs for potatoes and they were greatMy mom had bacon and eggs with a pancake, bacon was crisp and the pancake was huge Service is always very friendly You can bring your dogs if you wish as they are always a few here when we come here

We had dinner here one night with friends. It was more than a week ago and I am still thinking about it. The first thing they bring out are rolls with black truffle butter--they were so amazing but the trays of gourmet fries with different dips were equally incredible. For a salad I had the shaved zucchini salad. Such a fusion of incredible flavors! We all had the file and it was one of the best I've ever had. I enjoyed the bernaise sauce with the filet. Our sides were the charred asparagus, crispy brussel sprouts, mirin and soy glazed mushrooms and black truffle mac and cheese. To finish we just had them bring out one of everything on the dessert menu. There was a mud pie, banana tarte tatin, butterscotch panna cotta, warm spiced beignets and a coconut layer cake. I didn't try them all but there wasn't much left of any of them by the time we left. My favorite of what I did try was the mud pie. There was not one thing that I ate that was not amazing. Don't miss this treasure! Based on reviews, my wife and I decided to try a breakfast burrito, it was really good and was a perfect morning for it. I think they could have had an extra waiter as it was fairly busy and the wait for him to come around was a little long, but the burrito made up for it. We also went back with our friends the next day for the grilled cheese and it was also on point. My friends said it lived up to the hype I was saying about it. Went in to this dark and relatively empty place for lunch. The country western inspired motif with scratched table tops and torn seat pads the country music blaring in an empty 3 room venue. A convoluted menu you that the cashier said he canât figure out after three months working there. Itâs Mc Donaldâs style counter ordering with a number issued for table delivery. Then the $31 lunch arrived. Real barbecue. Long and slow cooked it was tasty food. 2 pieces of chicken, 4 ribs and some of the best brisket Iâve ever had. Fair potato salad and nasty macaroni salad. The onion rings (4) are huge and seemed pre made. Good not great. Pricey bordering on too high. Ambiance for those that miss dark Smokey bars I couldnât muster a must go to.
