Reviewed By gordonb415Fantastic Hotel....staff excellent...rooms just superb....all staff keep this Hotel in top order....pool and spa bath just lovely....the decor of the Hotel is just exceptional,the Staff take pride in everything......we have a room with a view......lift to all floors ....lovely sitting areas......car parking available at only 8 euros a day.....the lovely centre just a 10 min walk away.....the breakfast is just something else....5 star....as much as you can eat ....again wonderful staff.....This Hotel should be a 5 star.....it’s a hidden gem......hope it stays like it......will come again.....WiFi very good.....??????ps the gardens are so well kept and lovely lights at night

Reviewed By davenoble1963Really enjoyed our two night stay at the Hotel Garbi in Calella. Very clean, comfortable rooms, sea view from our own balcony, really helpful staff, great buffet breakfast. Short walk to bars and restaurants in Calella which are high quality.

The included breakfast buffet was very nice and had an excellent selection of fresh fruits, breads, meats and cheeses. I liked that I could boil my own eggs. Service was great. Free parking on the street in front of the hotel. We had a room with a sea view and a very small balcony. I would have preferred one of the other rooms with the bigger balcony. The only thing I didn’t like was the bed headboard. It looks dated and cheap.

Excellent hotel in wonderful location
Reviewed By DavidArchitect2018Lovely family-owned hotel in wonderful location overlooking the beautiful village of Calella de Palafrugell in Catalunya. Maybe only 1* but good though basic rooms and facilities. No air conditioning, maybe one of the reasons for the 1* rating. Terrace restaurant serves great local food throughout the day. Two short holidays there this summer, and will definitely return next year!

Casa Calella is an accommodation located in the old centre of Calella de Palafrugell, Baix Emporda’s most beautiful costal town. It is next to the church, a few meters away from the sea and it has four spacious rooms. The 19th century house is restored fully, keeping its original atmosphere, with all the modern comforts. It also has a cheerful 170m2 garden where you can relax, read, or have a drink. On the terrace under the lemon tree we serve our breakfast. Casa Calella is an exclusive place to enjoy a pleasant stay in a unique area.
Completely Charming
Reviewed By Stephanie MMy husband and I absolutely loved our five night stay at Casa Calella. As many other reviews point out, the location is perfect, close to the beautiful beaches of Calella de Palafrugell and it's many shops and restaurants. But what made our stay really special was the hotel itself - a traditional building with charming blue shutters and only 4 rooms, it's quaint and charming with lots of personal touches. Breakfast every morning is served in the lovely garden and comprises delicious fresh fruit, pastries, cheese and ham - you are made to feel completely at home. Our room was bright, airy and perfectly equipped with lots of unexpected storage, and even a beach parasol which came in very handy. The honesty bar in the garden is a lovely touch - we would love to return and would absolutely recommend.
