Buffet selection was excellent both for breakfast and evenings in the restaurant with a good variety throughout the week, offering an array of cuisines. Access to Cala Egos beach was ideal although there is a hotel charge for sunbeds on the beach and a premium charge for reserving Bali beds around the main pool area which I thought was a cheek as an All Inclusive paid guest. Entertainment is different every night ranging from tribute bands / live music, however no real amphitheatre / stage decking was disappointing when comparing to previous holiday experiences, lacking somewhat of an atmosphere. Walking distance to local beaches took around 15-20 minutes and a stroll to the Marina & Cala d’or main town you’re looking at around 40-50 minutes which was fine but further out than expecting. My main annoyance was the fact that after paying for a ‘Sea View & Side Pool Room’, on arrival we were given a room on the first floor corner block which offered a pool and beach view but unfortunately no sea view whatsoever due to an overhanging large tree blocking what would have been a picturesque outlook from the balcony. Frustrations were aired respectfully to the reception team however no adjustments were made and instead placed on a reserve list and told that when guests check out we’ll be first to be contacted that never happened which I thought was exceptionally poor as the Hotel was never completely booked up. Overall a very lovely holiday experience however, with the exception of an individual at reception.

Reviewed By stu_uk100We stayed here for nine nights in May and loved it. The kids entertainment is brilliant and they look after the children so well all through the day. The night time disco starts at 8.30 and our two children were always excited and desperate for it to begin. The food is nice and varies each night, with themed nights occasionally throughout the week. It's so nice to be able to sit and eat or drink knowing the children are a few feet away, either on stage or on the little bouncy castle to the side. There is a little park and climbing frame in the resort and the pool is perfect - two water slides are fine for the younger ones (our girl is three and was comfortable on her own, plus it is good fun for the adults too!). The location is perfect, with a few nice beaches within walking distance. Shops and restaurant are on the door step too so it is easy to pop out if you need anything.

SENTIDO Tucan is an adults-only hotel in the centre of Cala d'Or on the south East coast of Majorca. The hotel overlooks the sea and is within walking distance of the yacht marina where there are cafés, restaurants and bars. The beach of Cala Gran is a short stroll away, and there are steps leading down to it from the hotel. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and a surrounding sun terrace and tree-filled garden. There are plenty of places to sit and relax with a drink from the pool bar. There's an onsite gym and spa with a sauna and a whirlpool, and you can book a massage. However I was not happy with food in restaurant as was cold or only warm, as were plates. Food did not suit my taste at all. Breakfast was fine as you could get omelette or fried eggs which were obviously hot as cooked fresh. The snack bar was very good too as the salads were lovely. I couldn't fault the staff in any area in which they worked.

Reviewed By FarleypantsThe bar in this hotel closes at 7pm. There were no other humans in the downstairs areas after 9pm. Nobody wants an in-house discotheque in the hotel, but this was more like a rest home than a holiday hotel.

Reviewed By krose55Stayed here in June, as a couple in our early 30’s. We found this hotel was in a great location, 5 min walk to the beach and some lovely restaurants near by. Hotel is 50 min taxi ride away cost us €75 each way. Arrived in the afternoon and check in was easy. We paid for a safe €20 but you get €5 back after you leave. The self catering studio was perfect, had all you could need; a kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom too. The pool area was nice and had beds but as the holiday went on we had to put towels down early. The pool bar was ok, had food once and had the occasional beer and daquiri but was a bit hit and miss. The staff was very friendly and they kept the place clean and immaculate. Would stay here again and would recommend it.

Great Entertainment, Lovely Staff
Reviewed By PhelpsR2022We have just returned from a family holiday at this hotel. We were a party of 10. The staff are lovely and rooms and public areas kept spotlessly clean. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy but are in need of a revamp and lick of paint. The only thing that let it down was the food. Breakfast was okay a choice of cooked or cereal. For lunch we mainly ate around the pool which was normally beef burger and chips or salad. Sadly Dinner wasn’t good it doesn’t cater much for English or Children. I am not a fussy eater but I struggled at least 5 out of 7 nights for something to eat (I ended up with soup and a bread roll) My 10 year old and 14 year old struggled a lot and mainly ate bread and butter for their main meal as there is nothing for children to eat unless they like Pasta every night! Now for the good points the entertainment was amazing when Connal, Aoibheann and Leanna were all there together. Connal made our daughters holiday! He made them feel welcome from the very first day, they loved joining in with the games and activities. Sadly during the week Connal had to go back to another hotel and Leanna was left with 2 new people, the entertainment was non existent unless Leanna was around, she is amazing and works super hard! Overall the holiday was great and we were blessed with gorgeous weather. We will definitely return, Cala D’or is beautiful and the beaches are stunning!

Disappointed
Reviewed By mvlk10Was very Disappointed with my room, very shabby! If i had seen pictures of this actual room when booking i would not have taken a 2nd look let alone booked it! It felt really unclean although the bedding and towels were fine thankfully. The floor was constantly sticky even though i did see cleaners mopping it my feet were black every time i walked on it bare foot. Light switches which filthy, tiles above the toilet splashed with brown i don't know what but was never cleaned off, wood work rotting on door frames, rust on bedside lights, paint on curtains from the wall. phone by the bed was thick and clogged with dust and didn't work anyway, there was a thick lump of brown god know what on my bedside table hopefully was chocolate??? Showering/bathing in salty water was disgusting might as well have bathed in the sea. Photos say the rest!? I showed photos to reception staff who copied them and said "they would show to the manager" i told them it was unacceptable as the only pictures shown when booking were of the newly renovated apartments. No one got back to me or acknowledged my complaint. The restaurant is very clean but staff so stressed and miserable, not friendly at all, the pool area /bars/snack bar i believe are a breeding ground for covid! Entertainment if you can call it that, was very disappointing, but they work hard and are lovely and friendly. Couldn't book a pedicure in the spa as it was for "members only" Kids little splash water park pool looked very cloudy. However the beach a minutes walk away is gorgeous and a great escape. If you book double check you have a newly renovated room and avoid room 5012 at all costs. Needless to say i will not be recommending this hotel and will definitely not be returning.

Reviewed By Q4156QHkerryjArrived last Friday with my wife and 2 children (7yrs and 1yr) … literally couldn’t swing a cat in our family room. The room itself was grotty, there were ants in our bathroom (around the sink) and in the main bedroom underneath the travel cot that had been laid out for our youngest; needless to say she was never going to sleep in it after that point. The bathroom had old peeling stickers on the door and the mirror was wearing round the sides making me feel like it was older than I am. I have a high tolerance for most things and can always see the positives but honestly - not here. We attempted the pool and splash park as we’d promised our 7yr old that that’s the first thing we would do when we arrived away to be greeted with dirty sunbeds that looked like they were never cleaned, awful. The pool water was (I think) sea water so really salty and freezing cold. Then it continues… we purposely booked an all inclusive for the endless ice lollies that would no doubt be requested by our 7yr old to be told that they didn’t do ice lollies and the closest thing was ice cream but that was only available between 4pm and 5pm?!! Speechless. Went to get an all inclusive drink… told we needed to give them a euro everyday to release a glass in which we had to look after and return at the end of the day…again… just no. This holiday wasn’t cheap and something we’d been looking forward to for some time like everyone does but after one day and one long night in our dingy room we swiftly made the decision that this wasn’t fit for the kids (or us!) and moved on. To top it off after requesting something like a kettle in with to sterilise our daughters bottles we were told no and were given no advice on how we could maybe work around this. One receptionist in particular went as far as to be sarcastic about it and I’ve never been spoken to like that in any hotel or shop or professional premises in my life. Wouldn’t recommend and the photos online look nothing like reality. All round awful experience.

First of all would like to say thank you to Maria which is a bartender . She is so nice as a person and really good and quick at work . Always want to smile when me and my mum and freiend saw her. Definitely recommend it this place. Joanna
