Mango Suites is the first boutique hotel in Tuguegarao City, situated at the heart of the city. The hotel structure is designed by the owner himself Arch. Reighnbert Diwa. It has 32 bedrooms equipped with luxurious modern facilities to ensure guests’ comfort and satisfaction. One of the best highlights of being a boutique hotel is that almost all that the guest needs are just within reach. The hotel is very accessible to various establishments like restaurants, banks, drugstores, hospitals, schools and offices which is very advantageous particularly to those guests who are here for business.Mango suites aim not just to satisfy guests, but to delight and to provide them the best hotel experience that they truly deserve.
Descent enough for a family
Reviewed By dadimakdetailDespite having cramped rooms, our stay was good. I can't say much for those who wanted to stay for extended days because we only spent a night here. As soon as we arrived, we were assisted on our parking. Parking was small too, by the way, and it was an outdoor one along the road. I'm not sure if they have other parking areas. I didn't ask. The room was good. It was enough to give as a good night sleep. Breakfast was good too. We had longsilog without the "sinangag" though. But it was good. The ambience of the place looks peaceful too. But... If you're planning to stay for extended days, there might be still other places to stay. This is located at the heart of the city. You'll be greeted with traffic as soon as you walk out of the hotel's doors. If you're looking for a "green" ambience, I believe there are other hotels that have this. Despite Tuguegarao city having a humid weather, the hot and cold shower was a plus too. :)

Reviewed By wandersofjoyNot a great place to stay as a family especially if you have toddlers with you. Their restaurant is open for smokers and non smokers with no designated areas. Service is below average, unwelcoming and rude. The room has an odd and strong smell.

Reviewed By Les080253The one thing we will remember is the rooms had no windows and a window type Ac where the window should be .Staff were all friendly and it’s located next to a mall and the price was reasonable.The showers are good with hot water which is not a given in the rural Philippines. Few of the hotels and restaurants in Santiago are listed on Trip Advisor and there are better options, we moved to Mango Suites which was the same price yet had balconies in the rooms and overlooking the rover .Free Wifi which was fast was a plus.

Excellent place to relax with family
Reviewed By dokNemieWe were a group of 18 people (family) who checked in after Christmas. We were given 4 rooms which were all very neat and clean and in proper order. The air-conditioned room had a double and single bed with its own bathroom and toilet equipped with water heater. There was a television with cable channels. The beds were very comfortable. The place only had a total of 10 rooms. But it had a function room, a small restaurant. The staff were very accommodating, courteous and attentive to our needs. The food was great. The manager was kind, the chef was also very considerate of our requests. The place is just 2 years old so they are not so used to having a big group like ours when it comes to preparing food. But if you advise them ahead of time, they can comply with your requests. And they are very flexible with the time you would like to have your meals, as well. Very recommended!

128 Lodge ~ A promising aparthotel in Tuguegarao City
Reviewed By EZN2014When I saw an off-peak deal ad about 128 Lodge, I immediately chose this property for my solo travel to Tuguegarao City, in the province of Cagayan, Philippines. The website photos are true representation of the property; however, one should not expect something grand as the property is a simple traditional "aparthotel". I believe that at this moment (October 2019) more works are still under process _ which when completed, will popularize 128 Lodge. When nearby grassy and muddy grounds are paved, streets are named, and 128 Lodge signboard is put up, it won't be long, tourists will flock to this "aparthotel". I really appreciate the helpfulness of the owners especially when they volunteered to pick me up from the city center. They served very affordable traditional breakfast delivered to my room on the 4th floor. However, I noticed very, very tiny red ants (almost invisible if you are not conscious of ants) appear in bed sheet every now and then, after catching and getting rid of a few, and so on. Dangerous if they crawl inside your eardrum. When I requested them to sort out this problem, they immediately took an action. Still, on my last night I saw a few more tiny red ants; and had no idea where they were coming from. I would suggest the management _ a general cleaning of the dusty flooring. Although those cobwebs under the bed are harmless, they should be removed. As a whole, I liked the privacy of my stay. It was just that, those tiny red ants caused me disturbed sleep and rest. Lastly I can say that tricycles are a good mode of transport in the city of Tuguegarao; although they are more pricey than the public jeepneys if you request them to take you to remote areas. I would recommend 128 Lodge to backpackers and cost conscious travellers. Mostly, I wish to thank very much, Ms. Fredelyn and the other staff for their politeness and helpfulness.

OK place to stay after a long drive
Reviewed By IziaStayed with 2 friends after a very long drive from Baguio City. Easy to find and has a sufficient parking area. The hotel being beside a Petron station was a plus. Although the rooms are not luxurious, it served the purpose for a good night sleep and some showers. However, with the quality of the toilet/bathroom & toiletries offered, I find this hotel a bit pricey. Have not stayed in any other hotel in this city so I don't really know what else is on offer. This could be the best they could offer so no complains...
