Things to do in Morbisch
One can consume good wines at reasonable prices for meals. Local wine producer who is offering his own range of different kind of wine.
Ausgezeichnete Weine. Sehr gutes Essen.

Amazing wines, rich, elegant and structured (especially the red) and beautifully served in a great location. It was one of my best escape-to-the-countryside trips from Vienna. I was there in a rainy day. They have a nice garden outside and great place indoor with a lot of atmosphere and elegance (where I enjoyed the great wines served in proper glasses). It is also suitable for family as they have few farm amimals outside (goats and hens). I will definitely go back.
Top 10 Central European food in Morbisch, Burgenland, Austria
Quirlige Besitzerin sowieso... Fixpunkt bei einem Rust-Besuch!
Excellent wine at a fair price, nice food, fast service. A conversation is not to be expected from the Hungarian nationality waiter, still tavern/restaurant vocabulary is there ;-)

As Heurigenrestaurants go, this is upscale. It is in the garden of a regular restaurant. Peter Schandl also produces a good variety of reasonably priced superior wines. The restaurant was recommended by several local people. It is a good idea to make reservations, which we did on our second visit. The garden restaurant is a busy place with mostly 6 or 8 person tables. Expect to share your table with strangers. More often than not, we find this a pleasant experience, especially for tourists and travelers alike. One couple with whom we shared a table on our first visit, we met again in two other restaurants later in the week.We tried several local specialties and were surprised at the quality of the preparation and the appearance. Now, this is not a Michelin 3 Star, but the food is very good. We have seen much better service, but here it was friendly and rushed.

When we found our hotel's restaurant was inexplicably closed we looked for an alternative and the buzz of happy diners convinced us to come in.It is a traditional wine growers wine bar with tasty simple food of the meat cheese and bread variety bought cafeteria style. Of course there is excellent wine.It turned out to be a very pleasant evening, although we have been to similar places with better and more extensive food offerings.
