Fantastic beach and nature resort in Nesebar

Accommodation was amazing thanks to modern and beautifully decorated apartment; great professionalism of manager and entire staff. Everything is perfectly cleaned and maintained. Hotel is located next to a beautiful small beach surrounded by unspoiled nature. You can enjoy magnificent birds singing, flowers, and trees; it feels like a little paradise. We will definitely return as soon as possible. Special thanks to management team that helped with reserving and ensuring our stay was a perfect experience.

Very nice family run hotel
Reviewed By Paul FI have really enjoyed my 2 weeks stay at Hotel Central, the friendly and very helpful stall do their best to make your stay a pleasant one. The hotel is just a 500m walk to Flower Street and located in a peaceful street with a small supermarket 150 m away. This hotel is perfect for all, the elderly, families with kids, young groups who want to be close to the Nightlife Sunny Beach has to offer. The beautiful grounds are full of flowers and fruit trees leading round to the pool, sun bed area and pool bar area. I hope to return to Hotel Central next year around the same date end of May beginning of June as the weather was beautiful, the first 10 days without rain with temp at 30 for a couple of days. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Central, specially the lovely head waitress who greeted me with a smile every morning at breakfast.

We cannot fault this hotel in anyway.The atmosphere in the bar is so relaxing and comfortable,with a good choice of tasty food at realistic prices.Nice English breakfast if thats your start to the day Sports fans are certain to see their games on the 3 Tv's in the bar.My choice is F1 and I should be sat watching that with a nice cold beer today. Daniela and Steve the owners are perfect hosts and always available to maintain your requirements,along with the hardworking bar staff,especially Tadi,Gaby and Paco plus the rest.A great team. This hotel is situated opposite and 20 yards from The Ivana Palace,so good for that friendly get together and always someone there to talk to.Plus cheaper drinks in the Friends Hotel.If your staying at the Ivana then you will want to visit FRIENDS. Hopefully we will be back in September. A little about the surrounding,just 6 minutes walk or so to the beach and or a steady 35 minute walk to the main drag Flower Street or 2 lev bus ride from a very close bus stop. I could go on and on but far better to book into this hotel and find out yourself.I forgot to mention the very clean comfortable rooms and pool area. Enough said .

Go at your own risk - terrible room or ok room
Reviewed By netutskiI don’t understand how people have rated this as a 4 star hotel. 2 is better. Our first room was horrible, air conditioner did’t work and in shower the water stayed in the shower cabin, so after 3mins there were dirty water all the way up to your ankles. After that you had to close the shower so that it wouldn’t flood to the bathrooms floor. The TV was a small one from the 80’s. There was also carpeting that was a bit dirty and I wouldn’t be surprised if it had mole in it. But! We complained and got a new room. It had ”wood” floor, big shower, modern TV (with netflix!) and quite new working air conditioner. Double bed’s other side was good, but on the other side when you say down it made a loud noise, and everytime you would turn around in bed. Breakfast was small, and if you don’t eat sausages and eggs you will eat almost only bread at your stay. Butter was super melted and juices (apple and orange) tasted like there had been added water to them - orange juice was so light that it looked more like pineapple juice. Waiter staff didn’t look very professional, just their regular clothes on. The pool area: nice pool bar and tables + chairs. Pool very basic but ok. What I didn’t like was the sunbeds and sunshades. Plastic beds and the cover was soft but super hot ”leather” material. That one time I spent the day at the pool I saw how the old coca cola shade came down. Pool bar service was good and in the reception as well. In the end we ended up changing our hotel to a better one, where we got to really relax at nice pool areas and nice rooms. Reviewed By MariaS1159I've known Sozopol all my life and the Doctor's House is in the best part of the city's Old Town. The owners are friendly, keep the place spotless and speak excellent English. We stayed at the top floor mansard room which has a huge terrace with a breathtaking view of the sea. It was the best place for a long romantic weekend, I highly recommend and we will most definitely be back real soon! Thank you, Eva!

Reviewed By Anna KThis was my second stay in Gardenia. I was good surprised with the fully refurbished 2-bedroom apartments. The biggest PLUS are two balconies - one facing to the sea and another one - to the lake. Amazing panorama views!!! Especially the sunsets!!! Unforgettable! Yes, spiders, small day flies, but you are in the real nature - between the salt lake and the sea. The location is one of a kind. It is really nice place for the nature lovers. When the road finishes, it starts a kilometers long sand stripe between the lake and the sea ...you can go walking far away on this path until you reach Akheloy. There is a kilometers long, unsecured large beach with black sand, which is very healing because of saturation with iron oxide. You can go and wrap in the mud and stay so black for 15 mins and after go to the sea and wash yourself in the salt sea water. The place is unique! Here nature has concentrated a great healing power for treatments of musculature disorder. When you decide to go in the busy town center - no problem - you can go walking for up to 15 -20 min. Lots of dining options and supermarkets around. I love the quietness of this place, the warm sea, the truly comfortable self-catering apartments. Will be back in June next year for sure!

Great food and lovely setting

A new menu since our last visit which I loved as the menus here can take an age to read through. The fish was freshly caught in Nessebar that day and the food was very good value. The views are also lovely.
