Reviewed By lauradM4234OCVery happy with our recent 10 days at Melia Sunny beach! The rooms are a little basic, but clean and have everything you need. We were upgraded to a junior suit which was nice. Couldn’t fault the food in the restaurant and the snack bar by the pool is great. All the staff were friendly and attentive.

Good complex but everyone of us experienced sickness and diarrhoea on this holiday and it floored everyone of us for two days. Something wrong here as loads of people had suffered the same. We only ate in the hotel?? Lobby bar staff very nice and jet2 service was excellent start to finish.pity about the food. Stayed this week 6 june

Hotel Laguna park and Aqua club is a spacious and constantly developing hotel, located in the center of the resort of Sunny beach, near to the beach and the numerous local bars and entertainment facilities, as well as the local bus terminal and excursion pick-up points. Our guests could enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the renovated rooms, restaurant and lobby areas. The newly-built Aqua park with slides for adults and children is our compliment to all our guests. In the SPA center the guests will find professional services in the turkish bath, sauna, steam bath, massage rooms. The enthusiastic team of animators is always smiling and willing to perform day and evening activities with guests from all ages and natonalities.

Reviewed By waltzinThis hotel definitely exceeded my expectations . The hotel is immaculately presented and is constantly cleaned . Restaurant has a good selection of food , even for fussy eaters . The snack bar which is open from 9-6 is great for the kids . Never ending ice cream lollies kept them happy . Pools are great and many lifeguards on duty daily . Youngest loved the pirate ship and eldest loved the slides and big pool . George at the pool bar is great . The animation team keep the kids entertained , but their music is too loud around the pool. Evening entertainment is provided by the team. My only complaint is about the entertainment area, which is very steep and dangerous . Rooms are immaculate, large and cleaned daily . Fresh towels and bedding. The hotel is in a good location , near the beach and bars . All staff at the hotel were lovely, friendly and helpful . Please don't trust the negative reviews, this hotel is great and above par of many of the hotels in sunny beach .

We enjoyed the food very much and we will be back here in August. One thing we dient like is the receptionist staff.

Good hotel, amazing entertainment
Reviewed By miseriaeThe animation crew made this hotel what it is, Chris and the team had games for children teens and adults everyday that helped people get talking about make friends, they were very interactive with the guests everyday. The rooms were clean and spacey with accommodations offered but sadly no iron, but excellent maid services. Did not enjoy the food very much, not much to offer for people with allergies and the food was similar everyday even on themed nights. Would probably visit again.

The view from the rooms are breathtaking. The hotel is just steps away from the beach. Great getaway for a nice and relaxing vacation!

Reviewed By Paul BThis hotel is very clean and spacious, with good sized accommodation. The gardens and pools are kept to a very high standard, with the outdoor toilet facilities spotless. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is good and plentiful, however the waiting staff are far too eager to remove plates etc from your table, even if you have not finished your meal. The beach bar and facilities are also excellent, both in cleanliness and quality. In terms of cleanliness this has to be one of the best hotels I've holidayed in. It speaks of quality the moment you enter the reception area. I would definitely stay in the Riu Helios Paradise again without hesitation.

Sunset Resort is located right on the app. 400 m long beautiful natural sandy beach in the new quarter of Pomorie. It is close to the main motorway Bourgas – Varna, which connects the hotel compound with the city of Bourgas, the antique Nessebar, as well as with the largest and most popular holiday destination on the Black Sea Coast, Sunny Beach. The luxury five-star Sunset Resort comprises 5 apart-hotels and 6 deluxe waterfront villas, on a total built up area of 115 000 sq.m. The four outdoor swimming pools offer various water attractions and include two pool bars, all expanding on a total area of more than 3 500 sq.m.
Fantastic Stay, perfect for families
Reviewed By CaitlinJ555We stayed here in May 2022, which is the low season for the hotel, so it was very quiet. We were upgraded on arrival from a 1br to a 2 br appartment which was spotlessly clean and well equipped with a shower over the bath, oven, hobs, kettle and full size fridge freezer. The staff: The staff were great, really friendly and helpful. The bar staff are really knowledgeable and all staff speak at least basic English. The animation team are lovely and really friendly. The facilities: The facilities were good, the inside pool is huge and heated and has a jacuzzi. The spa facilities are lovely and the massages are brilliant and very reasonably priced. The outdoor pools aren’t heated so are quite cold when the weather isn’t super hot. It’s worth noting that in the down season only 1 of the 3 outdoor pool areas is open. The occupation of the hotel was so low that the pool was never crowded though. The water park also isn’t open in the low season. The kids club is really great, it has a mini soft play area, loads of toys and drawing materials. The kids club is best for under 10s I would say. There’s also an outdoor play park with swings etc which was great for a run around. The food and drink: The drinks availability is great, there’s several bars and all the usual spirits are included in the all inclusive as well as several cocktails, wines, beer and soft drinks. The pool bar is very easy to access. The all inclusive food is good, breakfast is great, but if you want a cooked breakfast it’s worth going down before 10 as it stops being replenished at 10. The rest of the food is good, there’s generally lots of options and almost everything I ate I really enjoyed. There’s generally 1 fish option, 1 chicken, 1 beef and 1 pork, pasta, pizza lots of hot side dishes and really wide array of salad. Even fussy eaters are accommodated. Location: The private beach is literally at the bottom of the resort and kept spotlessly clean and is all sand with no pebbles. The locale is very quiet, great for families. There aren’t many bars within walking distance. There’s local convenience shops within a 10 min walk and limited restaurants. Central pomorie is around 30-40 min walk. There’s a bus stop directly outside the hotel which serves Burgas (a really lovely vibrant city), sunny beach, nessebar ect. It’s only 4 lev each way. Taxis are also very reasonable, the hotel can arrange them for you, expect around 40 lev each way for Burgas. Lots of beautiful seafront walks around the hotel. Overall we had an absolutely brilliant stay. The staff are a credit to the hotel and the facilities are great. We would love to come back soon.
