Stayed there this past Thursday night, 3/10/22. Used the jacuzzi, which was barely warm enough to call bath water warm. Forgot two pairs of wet surf trunks in bathroom when we checked out early Friday morning. Called afternoon of the check out day (Friday), to alert hotel and ask them to save for us. Hotel gave us some B.S. about them not being able to enter the room because new guests there, then said cleaning crew did not find the trunks, when they were clearly hanging from the shower, so how could the cleaning crew miss them? That means the cleaning crew probably threw them out as trash. Two expensive pair of surf trunks gone. I have never had an experience like that in any hotel ever. Any time I have ever left anything behind, the hotel has saved it in "lost and found". Normal. This really pisses me off for the amount we paid to be lied to like this. They offered nothing to help the situation. Our fault for forgetting our stuff, but, understand that you are on your own at this place, your stuff is at risk, and there is no support staff to help you resolve any small problem. On check out morning, I went to wrong parking floor, and when door closed, my hotel card key would not work to let me back to the elevator to go down a floor even though we had not checked out yet. I had to wait until luckily an employee showed up to let me into the elevator. There was nobody at the front desk to call and say "hey! let me in so I can get to my car!'. Stupid stuff for an expensive place. Room was ok. A bit small, but comfortable. Bathroom was huge.

Lousy customer service and poor handling of issues

I stayed at the property in a very expensive unit for entire week. I found the property not very well-maintained, the food very average, the front desk extremely unhelpful and the building needing some maintenance. The ski concierge was excellent as was the valet and the hot tub was excellent but otherwise I would say they need a lot of work. The front desk was extremely unhelpful and if you do not rent from the resort they will tell you they will absolutely do nothing for you and they are unabashed and telling you that. It made you feel very unwelcome and quite frankly I was amazed having spent that kind of money I spent to stay there to be treated like I was a nobody. The arrogance of the front desk staff and management was amazing. The parking garage was very good and the location as always Is stellar. Honestly, it felt like the old resorts feels like they don’t have to do anything for anybody because they own the town. Not a really good feeling for somebody spending $1500 a night to spend a week at the most expensive resort in town.

Very nice resort

Reviewed By nancylb8302

You can tell the resort is new bc its beautifully decorated with gorgeous grounds. It was very clean and in the lobby they had a fireplace, pool table and shuffle board game with a tv and couches. The pools and hot tubs were beautiful and overlooked the mountains. The room itself (322) was beautifully decorated with a full kitchen, a table for 4, full laundry facilities, nice size bedroom with fireplace and very large patio that overlooked the pools and mountains. My only caveat about the room is that if you keep the sofa bed pulled out there is no room to walk between the bed and the kitchen table and no place for people who are sleeping there to store their clothes. The room could've been a little bigger. As for the resort, it's not a hotel so the sofa bed was not turned down which I didnt like and there is no-one to help you with your luggage. Another con, is there really isn't a restaurant on site. They have a bar with small plates. The location was great bc it was 5 minutes from town and 5 minutes from Frisco. All staff was very friendly.

Amazing Hotel For the Distance to Lift

We stayed in a standard studio. It was a little small for 3 people, but we made it work. The front desk was very responsive when we asked for more towels or needed help with decorations. It is a quick 3 minute walk to the quick silver lift. It is walking distance to many great restaurants. About a 15-20 minute walk to Kroger. There is a smaller supermarket that is just 5 minutes up the street. I broke my leg so I can say that it was also very accessible and also there is an urgent care that is apart of the same building. We have stayed in many onsite ski resort hotels, and this has become our favorite. Not bad for the price as well.

Most people come to the Gravity Haus/Breck for leisure, but I had business in town and stayed overnight for that. My room was set up well for the business travel. There was a nice desk with plenty of outlets and chargers. The wireless internet was fast, easy to connect to and reliable. A good night's sleep is essential for business travel. I got one, thanks to the quiet room and the comfort of the spacious bed. Looking past the business amenities, the room had a few quirks. There was no dresser, just shelves. There was only a single hanger in the room that had a bar or clips for pants. The room had a ton of marketing materials on display, including a large set of snacks that made me feel that I was staying in a Cracker Barrel. There did not appear to be a room service menu in the room. The hotel bills itself as a "club" with various upcharges for those like me who are not "members." Had this not been a resort town I would have found this more objectionable. For my purposes, the room was fine

Quiet, Good Location, Suite 10

Reviewed By Jaminoe

Pros. Very quiet. Suite 10 had a livingroom with fireplace and separate bedroom with king sized bed, walk in closet, walk out balcony. The 3 suites on floor 2 were off a large very nice gathering area with couches and a fireplace. This area had fresh ice water, cocoa, oatmeal, toasters, dishes, etc to use. Lodge was just a few blocks walking distance to Main St where all the action in town is and maybe 500 feet from the free in town shuttle. Cons. Some things showed wear - 1 bathrobe was tattered with holes, the bath towels had seen better days. Maybe renovation going on but our one window overlooked a large dumpster of junk. The fireplace went on and then the flames went out immediately so we turned off thinking something was wrong. Bed was very firm - this is not for us but may be fine for you. Any cons would not keep us from recommending the lodge staying here again.
