Reviewed By 951nachomI've had a fantastic two night stay in this boutique hotel in Bol. The location is central only a few minutes walk to the port and 20 minutes walk to Zlatni Rat beach. The design is modern and cozy, the amenities are fantastic and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Hard to beat at this price honestly. Special mention to Melisa and Ana, they really know what hospitality is about, they've been more than accommodating helping me with my (last minute) requests and enquiries. Look no more, book this hotel!

Reviewed By smallface1This is a perfect choice in Bol. It is a newly built modern hotel very well located near the town and very close to the beaches which are beautiful with crystal clear water. The rooms are well laid out and sea view rooms have a nice balcony. The rooftop pool and sun patio is delightful. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Definitely a very good choice on the spectacular island of Brac.

Good Value - few Hiccups
Reviewed By Go65510So my husband and I stayed here from 20th-30th May . We arrived very late in the evening and were allocated room 316…. First impressions was that there was no view - we were staying at the brick wall of the building opposite and I was gutted . I immediately went down to reception to see if there were any rooms with better views that we could upgrade to ( we were happy to pay extra) …. We were told they were fully booked but maybe one would be available in the next couple of days . Clearly , there was nothing that could be resolved so we went back to the room to unpack . Next , we realised there were no hangars in the only double wardrobe that was there , so off we went back down to reception to request some hangers ( annoying !) Finally , when we really checked out the room , we realised there were no drawers , a wet room and grab rails in the bathroom and that our room was suitable for a wheelchair user with wider doors , no storage and a sink that was low enough to wheel a chair under ! I wasn’t happy at all with this so went back down to reception for a third time to say I really wasn’t happy - there was no storage and I did not want a wheelchair accessible room with grab rails and a low mirror in the bathroom . The man on reception told me that all of the rooms were like this which I disputed . I told him I wanted a shower cubicle and I didn’t want a wet room with a shower seat ! He told me there was nothing available tonight and to come in the morning and see the Manager . He told me that they would change our room in the morning . When we woke up the next morning , we could see outside clearly and if we craned our neck over the balcony we could see Rat Beach but looking straight on was the brick wall ( crap view !) …. To be fair , you couldn’t complain about the view as we paid for limited sea view and it WAS limited sea view . We visited reception after breakfast as advised and was told to come back after 2pm when guests had checked out and we could have a different room . We did this and was given room 432 …. My goodness - what a difference !!!! The view was nothing short of magnificent ! We had full sea views , TWO double wardrobes WITH DRAWERS and the bathroom had a massive shower cubicle and STORAGE !!! We literally were soooo happy . All of this was carried out courteously and efficiently by reception …. But be warned and vigilant - in D block just note th second door to the left on every floor - it’s a wheelchair accessible room and is NOT the same as the normal rooms ( you’ll spot it because the doorway is that much wider !) . Also - we only got given one room key for the first room and two keys for the second which makes me think it’s only for one person and not a couple ?♀️ Despite this shaky start , the hotel was great . The staff were polite and friendly , the cleaners were brilliant and the food was good …. We did get bored of it , but that was us - there was enough variety and it tasted good too . My complaints about the food / dining is :- There were no teabags …. Only Indian Tea , which wasn’t like our English tea …. I had to buy a box from the supermarket …. I have never been away and had to do this before The coffee wasn’t great quality ( according to husband ) but there WAS coffee . They didn’t provide water with evening meal so you had to buy a drink every time . In the rooms ( that were spotless ) it would have been good to have an information guide on the loca area such as the catamaran times / prices and the facilities in the local area etc . I’ve never stayed anywhere where they haven’t provided this information before . These are only minor niggles and overall this hotel is lovely and I would stay again - fab location and having hired a car and driven over most of the island , I don’t think you could actually stay in a better place . Bol is beautiful and I really don’t think you could be disappointed in the location OR the hotel .

Our room was very clean and homely with a view over the orchard beneath our balcony. All the staff within the complex were always friendly and helpful. Encouraging activities such as Stretching and Yoga. Twice we were entertained by a fantastic Vocal Duo. The meals were excellent with a number of choices in the buffet dinning; Teddy Yahir and Oliver were always so helpful in the grill area. SAGA had a beautiful lounge where we could relax and sometimes listen to music. Ivana and Andrea where always bright and cheerful and there to help us with anything we might need .. Thanks to you both. This hotel was the most relaxing place to spend a holiday

I highly recommend one of the private villas that will not disappoint the most discerning of travelers. My wife and I visited the Brac island for a friend’s wedding and this was just the perfect stay. Anita, Mario and Louis went above and beyond to make our stay extra special! Ps. Even if you don’t stay in the hotel, do not miss the absolutely gorgeous roof top bar!!

Reviewed By debbiemcn85This hotel is just fabulous. I've never been to Croatia before and having exhausted myself looking at all the options across the country, I decided to book the Milna Osam. It's simply beautiful. The photos are exactly what you get here. It's situated right beside the water and you can easily spend your day watching the boats coming and going. When my partner and I arrived, the receptionist mentioned they had only opened for the season a week before. It worked out perfectly as the hotel wasn't even at half capacity. We had booked a double room but were upgraded to a villa which was beautiful. It had a separate living room area, modern decor, super clean and very spacious. The air conditioning was a dream which was a godsend as it was unusually hot for the time of year. The shower was great and water was always hot. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels being left. Towels for the beach/pool could be hired from reception at €2.50 per day. Breakfast was a buffet and was plentiful in choice, you won't go hungry. We were half board and the dinner at night was fine but it could have included more choices, however in saying that, again, you won't go hungry. It's a short walk into the main part of the village where there are a few shops and bars/restaurants. We would often walk over at lunch time for a drink and watch the yachts coming and going. We hired a buggy from a tour operator and seen the rest of Brač, visiting the other areas such as Bol and Supetar. Can honestly say Milna is the best of the lot and we were so glad we chose to stay here. The staff are wonderful and always happy to help, they work so hard, especially the man who does the maintenance and keeps the place looking immaculate every day. I really wish I could stay here forever!! I really hope to return in the future.

Reviewed By lucygclarkeWe stayed 4 nights at the Gava Waterman Resort as 2 female adults. The Resort is beautiful with lots of amenities. The scenery cannot be faulted. The reception staff were very friendly, welcoming and willing to help with the additional arrangements we made. The resort is a 30 minute walk to Milna which is also beautiful and has plenty of places to eat and drink. The resort has three great pools and free access to water-sports during the day. The bar staff Matej and Alexander were absolutely brilliant, they created a great atmosphere whilst also providing a superb service. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Affordable All-Inclusive In Expensive Bol
Reviewed By Neil_HughesBefore booking, we were a little concerned after reading reviews about ant-infested rooms and the entertainment. But, we often forget that context is everything and that opinions around hotel stays are subjective. Before I go any further, it's probably best I tell you more about who we are and our expectations. We got the ferry from Split for five nights in Bol. It was about a 20-minute walk to the hotel. We are a middle-aged couple who would not sit around the hotel getting involved with the entertainment but appreciated many people want that. We knew BOL was expensive, so we needed a base where we could fill up on breakfast and then spend our days exploring Bijela Kuca Beach, Zlatni Rat Beach, and Martinica Beach before returning to the hotel for drinks and food. Bluesun Holiday Village Bonaca ticked all of these boxes. Every single staff member we met was friendly and polite. The food was good with plenty of choice, and the rooms were very clean. The only downside was at night there was no escaping the family entertainment, so we stocked up on all-inclusive drink and retired to our room with the sound of Baby shark, doo doo doo doo doo doo in the distance. Bluesun Holiday Village Bonaca is a great family hotel and with lots of entertainment for the kids. If you pay a refundable deposit at reception, you can rent beach towels which can be replaced each day by Ivan by the pool. In fact, Ivan needs a special thank you for all his hard work and is an unsung hero of the hotel with a keen eye for detail. If you are family or someone looking for an affordable base that is also all-inclusive, don't stress about the bad reviews and focus on exploring the beautiful island of Bol. Special thank you to all the staff for looking after us. Overall, it's a perfect base to enjoy the best BOL has to offer. Clean rooms, good food, and friendly staff. The only downside is not having anywhere to have a romantic few drinks after dinner without hearing Baby Shark, but hey it's a family hotel and we understand it's not all about us. :)

Reviewed By PebosjanVilla Giardino is perfectly located 1 minute away (up a hill) from central Bol with a store around the corner, great restaurants (Riva was my favourite) within a couple of hundred meters, and walking distance (20 minutes) to the Zlatni-rat Beach with several other beaches available within a couple of minutes. The hotel operators/staff are wonderful people (Nick and Elena with crew) who make the breakfast you want and ensure that there are fresh fruits, newly baked cakes, and bread as well as egg dishes of your choice. If you want some snacks or a glass of local wine then they will fix that for you. We will definitely return to Bol and will stay at Villa Giardino again.

Awful service of Wellness spa
Reviewed By 960xanamTurned up to my appointment at 17.00 as arranged. There was no one at the desk and no one available to do my treatment. The staff seem disinterested and unwilling to help. I will not be returning as they didn’t seem to care.
