Reviewed By anadishtWe absolutely loved the location,warm hospitality of the hotel staff and their commitment to our needs.It is the little things that make all the difference- the front office guy who checked us in asked the reason of our visit to Bansko and upon sharing that we were there to celebrate our anniversary , he wished us and ma de it a point to have a surprise cake sent to our room to celebrate our day! The AC in the room was not functioning well and maintenance engineer couldn’t understand the situation for almost 1.5 days due to language barrier and that’s when Dani stepped in and got it fixed in few hours .The restaurant breakfast was amazing and we absolutely loved the raspberry jam and to our delight the hostess ensured we left with a small bottle to remember them by .If this wasn’t enough, we were gifted Rose jam while checking out ?!The spa however was not fully functional and I was looking forward to enjoying the ice and salt rooms but the pool water was just perfect. Another thing we noticed was we couldn’t find any kempenski listing for Bansko in booking.com or hotels.com. We were informed by another hotel staff of the chain being present and we promptly cancelled our reservation and landed at hotel doorstep without a reservation. But all in all our Bulgaria trip is oh so memorable because of the wonderful stay at Kempenski Grand Arena Bansko ! Thanks to you all .

When we were leaving we were told at the reception that we have left to pay 30 BGN as we actually had to pay 312 BGN (10 times difference!). Despite the fact that the mistake was from their side, we let them know and showed that the deposit was taken in the wrong currency as it was not visible in their system at all! Not that I brag about being honest, but no appreciation from the front office manager who took our case at the reception and lack of a simple Thank you from her side disappointed us a lot.

Dreamy getaway in Bansko
Reviewed By SSt031This lovely place is absolutely a bliss to visit, perfectly located on the corner of Bansko, just a couple of minutes drive to the city center. We did a family getaway for a couple of nights and would definitely be returning. The food is amazing with variety of dishes to suit any taste. I surely enjoyed the breakfast and the variety of petites for desserts. The personnel is super friendly and was willing to accommodate all our needs. Thank you so much for the warm welcome.

Average hotel, need some renovation
Reviewed By Bulgaria87+ there are many rooms in the hotel so booking last minute is not a problem + rooms are renovated and refurnished + there is kids playground center, free for hotel guests + free wifi in rooms and lobby + stuff is OK + towels in rooms are changed every day - small variety of food at breakfast and dinner - only 1 option for cheese; 1 option for salami; very few variety for vegetarians - some parts of the hotel are very old and need renovation - some parts of our bathroom were not good - i am applying pictures - some communication problems with daily programm and activities - it was announced kids workshop in a certain conference room, we waited for 30 minutes in front of the room but they have decided to chsnge location without informing

Amazing stay

The hotel is a walk away from the centre of town and the gondola. Rooms were comfy and super clean. Lots of communal rooms including a lounge with open fire and a lovely games room. We were initially going to eat out all week but the great quality and value breakfast and incredible dinners beat the competition hands down! So friendly and so helpful for a bunch of beginner skiers of adults and children. Cannot recommend enough!

We stayed just one night but we felt in love with the property, the serenity and tranquility there. The location is not in the city centre but you will feel you are in Paradise. The garden of the hotel is huge , the swimming pool is amazing, big in nice oval shape, and the garden is full of trees and flowers. The terrace of our room was big snd sunny, you can relax with a glass of wine there and the wine of their winery is must have. But thr jewel of the hotel is the restaurant and its chef Lazarov. He treated us like kings with delicious dishes prapered to perfect , beautiful plates and tasty food. The concept of the restaurant is fine dining and the chef can do it. So don't miss to have dinner at this restaurant. The breakfast was a la carte with a lot of choices of home made dishes.so I recommend Villa Sintica snd soon we will be back for another great experience ?

PREDELA 2 is one of the top boutique holiday complexes in Bansko located in quiet area only a few minutes’ walk from the main ski road and 5 to 7 minutes’ walk to the Gondola lift station. We have over 50 fully equipped and serviced apartments of various type all fitted with comfortable beds and kitchens. Larger apartments have sofa-beds in the living room as an additional sleeping area for 2 children or one adult. PREDELA 2 boasts a 4 star facilities with large SPA, including 12 meter heated swimming pool, large Jacuzzi, Steam room, Fitness and Sauna. Massages are also available to book at an additional charge. Our restaurant is opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving freshly prepared local and traditional Bulgarian dishes. The complex is fully serviced with friendly English speaking staff that will go out of their way to help you with anything you need and make your stay pleasant.

Reviewed By 34cezarpI liked the location because was relatively close to the skiing zone and also I can say that the breakfast was good because you had plenty of options. I think that the staff needs to be more helpful with the guests, I ask the pool attendant/barman for more towels and se sent me to ask the lady at the front desk for one. Like I have to stock his towels. The rooms are very cold, we had to put a few towels to stop the wind to get in the room so you can easily get a cold over there. When we asked for a hair dryer, they showed us that they have 2 that are ot working. Also all the doors looked like someone force the doors to break inside the room, that doesn't give you a safety feeling. When you take a shower, the water from the shower cabin goes on the floor, so make sure you have flip flops when getting out. I will never go back there and don't recommend to anyone to go there.

We stayed in one of the newer family rooms. The room was spacious and clean, the AC worked perfect and the bed was very comfortable. The room was located at the riverside and the water from the river could be heard which created a very relax vibe. All staf was very service minded and we felt very welcome We can recommend this hotel to everyone who would like to have comfort and the guarantee for a good stay

The hotel and its beautifully manicured gardens provide an ideal wedding destination. The Medite Spa Resort is built on the ground of the ancient mineral baths of the famous Thracian tribe Medi. The great history and charm of the surrounding area attracts people to meet again in Sandanski. Average hotel and facilities, poor service and food quality. Not recommended.
Reviewed By 263mariakWe spent 3 nights in late October. We were accommodated in main hotel building, premium room. The room and bathroom were spacious, although the room was quite shabby - dark spots, scratches, cracks on the walls. Bathroom had no enough hangers for the towels and bathrobes, the towels were worn, thin and small. There was a micro terrace which was not cleaned even once during our whole stay. SPA is decent, not well maintained, which is valid for all the hotel amenities, including the swimming pools, jacuzzi, coffee tables and the beds in the pool and spa area. We booked HB package. The quality of the food was just terrible - not enough variety, overcooked, bad looking, awfully plated, very often some of the dishes were missing. The wine list was average and highly overpriced. The staff is not well trained, they're really trying to be polite and available, but they're slow and bad organized, never paying attention to detail. We also experienced missing orders, wrong orders as well as wrong bills. In general - this hotel is a pure disappointment. I would not recommend it and I would never visit it again. This hotel definitely doesn't deserve 5 stars and I consider the reviews in Booking as highly misleading (just FYI).
