The restaurant is located to the North of Neuilly-Sur-Seine, on an island surrounded by the Seine in Paris. It has a mixture of local french drinks as well as the brand names you would expect. The starters were beautiful. We shared two starters which were more than enough for 4, including humous, olives, salami, ham, tomatoes, cheese etc....the range and quality of the two starters that we tried were perfect. Our main consisted of steak, home made chips, salad (with a Dijon mayonnaise) and accompanied with a Peppercorn sauce that makes you want to go to the kitchen and demand the recipe! They also made a beautiful salad at request to the dietary requirements of one of our group. There is a great range of not just French but touches of specialist Italian cuisine centred around quality beef and seafood dishes. JC and Frederic were not only attentive and friendly waiters but took the time to describe every dish on the menu in English (as our french was only passable at infant school!). This seemed of no trouble whatsoever. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and like a friend always told me.....when you want good food, go to where all the locals go! The food was OK, we all had the same squid as appetizer, very nice!!, and grilled cod.... supposedly grilled... not sure.... although it had burned marks on it?!The couple whom served are very lovely, and nice. Both was sooo nice that I would go back just to try some of the other dishes they serve.

This is "Cuisine du Marché", Essentially French standards but prepared with an attention to detail that is really deceptive, it looks simple, but everything is freshly made by a chef who has worked in Michelin starred restaurants. Generally a choice of 3 starters, and 3 mains? and a limited choice of dessert (not their strong point)?You won't find better value for money than this.
