The population as of the 2010 United States Census was 27,822. It is located northwest of Herndon, east of Ashburn, and west of Great Falls, and includes part of Washington Dulles International Airport and the former AOL corporate headquarters. Sterling is also home to the National Weather Service Weather Forecast Office LWX (serving the Baltimore–Washington Metropolitan Area), as well as the Sterling Field Support Center, the National Weather Service test, research, and evaluation center for weather instruments.

Written reviews for this place before and maybe I'll keep doing it, because it's sooo good.Had the chili basil with seafood, seafood not over cooked as it is in so many dishes like this and there was plenty of it, med large shrimps, large scallops that were perfect and squid. I had it Thai hot so plenty of steam. Had the Som Tom also Thai hot, that was hot, had me sweating but sooo good. The meal was just right. This is as close to Bangkok food as I've had in the US. THIS IS GOOD! Can't wait to get back again

All you can eat Thai places are rare. Thai Thai in Sterling VA has a large open floor restaurant with several buffet tables. The buffet runs Monday through Friday from 11-3 and only costs 8.95. The only negative here is I eat way too much. I can't help. They mix up their entree items so next time you come back there could be all new items. They are always hot (temp) and the staff works non stop to keep the food filled. They always offer spring rolls, fried rice, pad thai. Also they always serve one of their soups and a simple salad section. I have only come here for the buffet. The quality of the buffet food is high so one day I may try ordering off the menu.

I have always been a big fan of Sense of Thai. The custom cocktails are still awesome but the food has not been as good my last couple of visits. The food is not bad but not up to previous standards. The service has always been slow but I overlooked that aspect because of the food and drinks. Unfortunately based upon my last few visits I have dropped my rating to average. Hopefully my rating will go back up but I am taking a break for now.
