Clean food and a warm welcome like a family.

Recommend by local people as the Thai place in town. Told to make a reservation as they only have approximately 10 tables in a small shop. We had an entree and two main meals and both were excellent. My wife had problems finishing hers due to the meal size. The restaurant is tucked in a corner behind The RSL club near the car park. Worth finding.

We ordered duck wrap as entree, it came after 10 minutes with just a single pancake cut in half as â2 piecesâ. The duck wrap tasted pretty good but quite expensive for such a small portion ($10.90 for a small palm size wrap). Then we waited about 40minutes and no sign of our mains (we ordered seafood laksa and chicken and vegetable noodles) there were at least 4 families came in for takeaway AFTER us and the kitchen prepared their food first. In the end I was ready to pay for the duck wraps and leave without my mains. The lady at the counter told us our food had been cooked and theyâre just ready now. We stayed and finished the food with great dissatisfaction. Although to be fair, the food tasted good. But it was unfair for them to cook for the takeaway people first. Total cost for 2 mains and a little entree $51.

Covingtons was recommended to us by friends, Lovely Thai food, at very reasonable prices, lovely old building, staff were efficient and friendly. We will definitely be going back on our next trip to Merimbula (Covingtons is in Pambula, a short drive from merimbula)
