Bangkok Garden Thai Restaurant

Came here with friends. First Thai restaurant in Bergen County. Very nice atmosphere. A lot of seating too. We had Pad Thai. Very good but seemed a little oily. We also had the massaman curry which was flavorful and plentiful. It was really good. Friends had a beef in gravy dish that they loved. Slices of beef that were tender. The service was great. Four dishes with tax and tip was $80. Tip: Parking is street parking with meters. Tip: takes reservations.

Authentic homemade Thai food (not fast food)

Drove by a few weeks ago and the place looked cute from the street so we tried it out a few days later loving Thai food for many years. Well it was wonderful authentic thai food with outstanding service and to boot its a byob. Inside is neat and clean with nice linen on the tables. Have now been there twice to eat and all dishes were fantastic and authentic. Great steamed dumplings, pad thai and red curry with coconut milk served with tender chicken and or pork so yummy! We wish them good luck and success in this wonderful little restaurant! Cant wait to go back. Say hello to chef/owner Lynn if you get a chance.

Tom Yum Koong Thai Kitchen

Stopped by for dinner on a Saturday night. We arrived before 7 pm and within twenty minutes the entire place was packed. It seems like reservations are the smart way to go on weekends since the restaurant is on the smaller side.Food and service were exceptional. Dessert was a satisfying surprise (try the red bean ice cream), and prices were very affordable. Décor really adds up to a calming dining experience. Plenty of street parking in the area. Very recommended, will definitely return.

My husband works in S. Hackensack and eats here nearly every week. I spent the week here with him and he couldn't wait to take me to Wondee's. We went with another couple. The staff was very friendly - they originally wanted to seat us next to a window, but we asked to have 2 tables pushed together further back in the restaurant - no problem. The server was very helpful in ordering - we all had a different dish, pork fried rice, green curry w/ chicken, grilled beef w/ rice and another dish w/ beef and potato - all were very good and portions were generous. Lunch included wonton soup which was very good. I'd go again in a heartbeat.
