Sushi was great! Snow mountain roll was delicious. Miso soup is very good, love the mushrooms and green onions!

Takumi has been open for 2 months, so we decided to try it out for lunch on a Saturday. Hostesses were very nice, asked if we wanted to be seated at Hibachi or a regular table. We decided to sit at a regular table - the Hibachi tables were very lively and loud, but that's part of the show. The hostess sat us at a booth table that was on the opposite side of Hibachi. The ambiance of the restaurant is good, it would be a great place to bring someone on a date night. There's also a bar area for the sushi as well if you'd like to sit there. Our waitress was very nice and she was quick with refills and checked on us a couple of times during lunch. We had for an appetizer the tuna shashimi - the presentation of it was very nice in a chilled glass. The fish was very fresh - the avocado in the dish maybe too fresh, it was hard, not softer so we couldn't eat the avocado in the dish, but otherwise it was very good. I opted for the lunch special - I like that they have the lunch specials on Saturday as well, other locations only have it Mon-Fri. I had the tempura bento box - everything on the plate was very good; the california roll/2 pieces, shrimp, fresh mushroom, sweet potato, squash fried tempura style was perfect. Prices are very reasonable, we'll definitely be back!

The folks that own this place and work here are fantastic. Checkout is always quick, and the staff is friendly. Salads and food is quickly available and very good.
