Pajara, on Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands, has several beautiful beaches. Head to the eastern side of the island for white-sand beaches with calm waters; on the west coast, you’ll find black volcanic sand and rougher surf. The church of Nuestra Señora de Regla is worth a visit—the designs on its façade show Aztec influence, according to some experts.

This is well worth a visit if staying locally, and we had very friendly service from Ramona. The steaks themselves were very good quality and cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend the food from this restaurant, as the side dishes and the ribs were also particularly good. The location is a little hard to find and surrounded by other restaurants at the top of a shopping centre. But at this time of year it didn't seem too busy.Thank you Frank and Ramona!

Dock Grill Rock

My wife friends and I drove from Corralejo to Morro del Jable for a day trip out. We spotted the Dock Fusion restaurant above a row of shops and popped in for lunch. The restaurant has good distant beach views, is clean and tidy and that’s were the good news really ends. The restaurant was not busy, so we expected a reasonably quick service. We ordered the Aberdeen Angus burgers (as they are a house special), the meal was sat on the pass for approximately five minutes that we could count. Heavens knows why, at first, we thought that it must be someone else’s meals and they were waiting for an addition. When the waiter finally brought the meals, they (as you can expect) were not as hot as one would expect from a recently cooked burger. The burgers themselves were average at best and if I am being honest overpriced. There are better places in the area to spend your hard-earned cash.

Without a doubt the best steak that I have had for a very long time and I love steak. Very reasonably priced, very good portion sizes and the waiters and waitresses very friendly, attentive and helpful. We had the bread rolls whilst waiting for our mains, we both had the steak option, mine rare and my partners medium, both were cooked very well. The steaks themselves quite literally melted in the mouth. We were so fill we shared the brownie for dessert which I would recommend to chocolate lovers. There is a reason that this place has not had a terrible review since 2015.... hands down the best meal we had on the island.

Went here for a steak dinner with family in late October 2019 and had one of the best steaks I've eaten.Ended up ordering a t bone, rare with Roquefort sauce and a jacket potato.Tucked in to bread, olives and aioli whilst waiting which was nice touch. The house rosé was good, a good medium blend that would suit whether you like it sweet or dry. Nothing special just good Spanish plonk which is what you want really. The steak was, well, huge for starters. I mean I'm a greedy eater but even I thought it was massive. The quality was not sacrificed in any way, steak was flavoursome, well cooked and super tender.Potato was good as was the sauce, admittedly I prefer thicker but it was perfectly adequate if a little scarce for the size of steak.I was also lucky enough to try some of my sister's unwanted fillet steak cooked medium (the fillet steaks are huge here too) with peppercorn sauce and that too was as good as the t bone I had since devoured.Tia Maria coffee for dessert which was lovely, good ratio of coffee to spirit. Just right to finish off the meal although they do have desserts if you can finish one after a t bone you're a better man than I.The restaurant has a great atmosphere and service was excellent to boot.Would 10/10 return and recommend. No surprises it's such a success, book early to get a table.Thank you so very much Ross for taking the time to make all of your very positive comments here about your visit to my restaurant in Caleta de Fuste. I am so very happy to hear you say so many great things about it and that you all enjoyed everything about your meals. I am also very happy to hear you say that you enjoyed the complimentary bread and dip and olives we serve while you wait for your meals to be cooked to order. Many of our clients enjoy the steaks but also many other dishes we serve from our menu. Thank you also for recommending us to everyone who reads your great comments here on this website. We hope you will be able to visit with us again one day soon when we hope you will enjoy your next visit as much as you have this one and we all look forward to seeing you then. Thank you once again. El Horno

After countless trips to Fuerteventura this was our 1st visit to this restaurant, it won't be the last! After much deliberation chose the sweet black pudding to start, didn't disappoint, Actually brought some back to the apartment to have later!Wife had number 12 which was the prawns and mushrooms in garlic, again, very nice.Main course had to be the mixed grill for 2 at 29 Euros, its mega and the accompanying chilli salt was a good touch. How we managed a dessert (home made crem caramel)after that I will never know....belt was unbuckled on leaving!El Horno has consistently good reviews for a reason, it delivers quality and quantity in a lovely authentic and rustic environment. We will be back!
