I had a fondue with my wife at the Fromatgerie and really enjoyed the dinner there.Great processional service, fast and efficient.We enjoyed a beef filet and had a chocolate coulant as dessert.Great place, great food, great service and on top of all, acceptable prices...You better reserve well in advance if you want to enjoy it as it is most of the time fully booked. No wonder why!

I came with the kids looking for the "bravas similar to the ones at Bar Tomas (from BCN)": may be those at l'Esquirol ara not that too level, but definitely are quite good.There ar no further tapas (except for croquetes). Remaining menus is about pizzas, toasts, grilled meats and burguers. There is also a 2 set menus (15⬠and 21⬠each) where you can choose a variery of first courses, sexind courses and dessert (everything included). We took pizza, burguers and one set menu and I must say we liked it all.Decoration is pretty good too despite is the groundfloor of a mountain hotel.Illustration: bravas potatoes for 3,5â¬Labels: 2eat, $$, #mediterranean, #children, #terrace

This restaurant is in the old town of Llivia and is 5 minutes walk max from various car parks. The decor is modern and stylish, but not stark. Staff are young and friendly, and our waiter spoke French and a little English (Llivia is for some reason part of Spain so most people speak Catalan). The food is definitely very stylish, but at no point is it style over substance...the ingredients are top notch and treated with respect. My local pork belly with smoked endives was outstanding. They have a set menu for 30⬠including 3 courses, wine and coffee, which is ridiculously good value for food of this quality. They also have a tapas menu with prices from 5⬠so no need to break the bank. Wines are very interesting, with many smaller and organic producers, and prices start from 12⬠per bottle.They are victims of their own success to some extent as they are incredibly busy with tables full and turned over as quickly as possible, but you can't really complain.

This restaurant does not need, any star Michelin, in fact is normal that don't take it: without waiters, opens only the weekend (except the August), service VIP to the room (he), to the cooking (she) are a very able marriage to be to the height of to 1 star, no doubt. Slow food. Each dish shared (half of the way between tapa and a ration recommends 4 or 5 for two people) each one is so good that you could forget the previous one: xai baked progressivelyâ in 24 hours, salad of crab and mango with ecological shoots, a false risotto marine 101%, and some potatoes braves that they are the best of Catalonia (I am really sorry for the fans of the Bar Tomás)

Stopped on our way to Mont Louis for a light lunch and bottle of wine.The menu was limited as mid afternoon but local wine good and Croque Monsieur excellent and tasty. Portion of chips generous and service good. Waiter friendly and helpful. The place was a bit run down though.
