After searching out for places nearby to our hotel with good reviews Arrebol came to light! Not on the main drag, in fact in a back street and looking like a small cafe that you would almost pass unnoticed. Can only say that it was a great suggestion by other travellers, my wife and I had an excellent meal along with some very pleasant service. Don't miss if you get to Cadiz!

Came here for a late lunch and dropped in on chance. It was late so got a table no problem. Very friendly welcome and great service. Very homely and charming style. Had the some very saucy potato braves followed by the wagyu burger and the tuna on toast. All delicious. For such a nice restaurant it wasnât at all pretentious and with drinks we spent less then â¬40 which was excellent value. We wanted to return later in our trip for our last evening meal in Cádiz and sadly when we called at lunchtime to book they were full for that evening so my advice I book in plenty of time.

Tapas bar small but you can eat very well. There are usually quite a few people but it is not a place where customers stay for a long time to find a place in a short time. We have many products gluten free and lactose free. Market food and lots of grilled
It has the classic tapas bar feel but almost every item was microwaved and came with soggy French Fries. The microwaved fries were quite hot at first so I burned myself immediately. After that the food was decent but not memorable. The meatballs and toro, for example, were fine but quite bland. Compared to the other options, we felt the food was average at best.

Un lugar donde la tradicion gastronomica gaditana se hace realidad. Disfruta de nuestros platos y tapas y por supuesto de una ubicacion inmejorable.
This place is located just by the local mercado and has a nice little terrace where we had the best lunch in Cadiz. The fish and seafood were fresh and tasty, as well as the wines. They prepare most of it on the grill, but you won't go wrong if you go with the fried options. Best value for money ever, great portions and relaxed and welcoming staff. Strongly recommended!!

Gluten free
I dined at this restaurant on consecutive nights late in August. I had not booked and I had no idea of any high recommendation â I simply liked the look of the menu. On my first night, I wandered in at 20-23 to be told the restaurant did not open until 20-30. On my return, 7 minutes later, I was seated in an empty room after much shuffling of the diary. The second night, again not booked, this time at 20-30 on the dot, I was acknowledged and looked after wonderfully by a lovely, and dare I say tiny, waitress, whose name, alas, I failed to spot. I did not sample the taster menu much admired by others, but chose from the a-la-carte menu: soup and duck the first night; mackerel and lamb the second, both preceded by the two amuse bouche of the house. Whilst I enjoyed each meal very much, although I found one desert of goatâs cheese ice cream unnecessarily over complicated, I have had equally as good meals elsewhere without any suggestion of a Michelin Star. What is undoubted however is the creativeness of the chef / owner, the exquisite attention to detail of the kitchen staff, the professionalism of the waitresses and the friendliness of a lovely lady, whom, I assume, is the chefâs wife / part owner.I hope this less than (the usual) gushing review does not have me barred from the place as I hope to return to both city AND restaurant in the next few weeks. Incidentally, 4.5 stars would be my mark.Mr. Bob B, Thank you for your words, you all help us to improve. Of course it will be a pleasure to serve you again. About the Michelin star....let´s keep dreaming¡¡¡ Thanks a lot

Itâs a family-run restaurant with Italian origins so they know how to make a meal an unforgettable experience. The food is delicious with options for vegetarians and vegans. Espresso coffee is the best Iâve tried in Cadiz. The place inside is so relaxing that I didnât want to leave. Iâll definitely go back soon.

We stopped on a whim to ask about some of the menu items. The owner was so friendly and helpful despite our language differences we came back after touring the Cathedral for an ice cold Estrella and a grilled slab of tuna on a crusty fresh roll! It was delicious and we higly recommend trying it. They also have great local beef burgers and of course all their seafood is fresh from the days catch!

bar located in the neighborhood of the vineyard in Cadiz, fresh food, meat, fish and various
Came here because of TA reviews. Arrived as they opened, and got a table straight away. Within 15 minutes the place was full. We were greeted by a very pleasant young lady who looked after us all evening. We chose from an extensive menu, Cold Tuna and potatoes, Spicy chips, Bashed (or could be Damage) eggs which was fried potatoes with chorizo and 2 fried eggs sitting on top, pigs cheek, and sirloin steak. All washed down with 6 glasses of good wine and a Pedro Ximenez sherry to finish. 39Euro! Superb and excellent in every department, a must if you are in Cadiz.

Daring menu diverting from the traditional dishes. Well balanced and prepared dishes with fresh ingredients, in a both quiet and yet clean and modern atmosphere in a corner on the outside of Mercado central. Highly recommended. Friendly and elegant serving, really relaxing place for a lunch!
