I usually love dining at the Olathe location, but yesterday my family and I visited the Mi Ranchito location in Overland Park. We did not receive the service we are accustom to: no drinks were refilled, we were not asked how our food was or if we needed anything. Our food took forever that we forgot we placed our order. Once our food was brought the staff proceeded to gather and dine while we were lacking service. It was unprofessional and rude to basically ignore us, as customers and not even attempt to provide quality service. We barely finished our meals. My order was incorrect- I requested black beans and received pinto. The refried beans were dry with a layer of crust on the top like they were old or had been sitting out-drying out for a while. The espinaca dip was delicious. Overall, we felt cheated out of an acceptable dining experience. I was surprise we even were acknowledged as we exited the restaurant. The only way to summarize our experience is extremely disappointing and awkward since the restaurant wasn't busy. I would not recommend dining at the Overland Park location on 151st Street.I am sorry to hear about you recent experience at this location. Please email us at [email protected]

First time visit based on a Mission local recommendation. Was concerned with some recent reviews, but we were very pleased with our meals.Quality food at a very reasonable price. Excellent cheese enchiladas and tacos. Menu is very large and lots of options. Another highlight is the chips and salsa. They have mild, medium, and hot salsa. We got mild and medium salsa. Both were good, but we really like the medium. Not too hot and the consistency was excellent (not too thin, yet not real chunky)

I had never been to this restaurant before. I stopped in for take-out to bring to a friend's house. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and the service was quick.

The food was all pretty tasty and apparently theyâre generous with the portions. My friend that lives in the area suggested meeting here. Power had caused the credit card machines to go down on our visit but they were good about working around it. They have an all the time deal of 4 Mexican beers for $13. Tacos were really good and loaded up. Iâd go back if I lived in KC.

We hadn't been in a long time and were pleasantly surprised with good food and service so we've been back twice since and had horrible service and not so good food since. Needless to say we won't be going back anytime soon! We were there forever and our waitress was horrible and had the worst attitude ever. There are too many other mexican restaurants in the area with better food and service. This used to be our go to but isn't anymore!
