We dined on the patio for dinner. The patio view is nice. Our service wasnât the best. We waited long periods of time until we would see our server back on the patio. There were plenty of servers on the patio waiting on their tables that we actually had to request items from. The margaritas were good, better the second round. First round did not have a salted rim. My husband ordered the chicken in mole. Chicken unfortunately was over cooked and dry dry dry. Mole was bland. I ordered the fish tacos. They were ok. Nothing mind blowing or worth coming back for. We both liked the rice and beans. The complimentary chips and salsa were ok. The chips are clearly not fresh. The hot sauce was tasty. We are disappointed to hear the night wasn't an all around hit, but we appreciate your helpful feedback about what did and didn't work out. Providing our guests with excellent meals and exemplary service is essential, and we will be meeting with our team to make improvements, and hope you will give us the opportunity of serving you again in the future. Annual Ancho's Birthday celebration for my brother. Our waitress Brianna suggested a slight variation to a menu item and it was great! The new manager, Vera, was very present, out getting to know the regulars.This is a 30-yr neighborhood restaurant with consistently great Tex-Mex food at family affordable prices. The salsa has a kick to it; the guacamole is fresh and chunky; the bar area makes any wait time enjoyable and the menu is varied enough to please our picky family!
