We had a reservation for 4, the very helpful waiter welcomed us and directed us to our table. First thing u notice is the beautiful Italian carrelage on the floor, the lovely design of the small restaurant. It happened to be Moroccan food for menu du jour. We had a set of Moroccan revisited entry, very tasty for the eye and tongue. For the main dish we had the famous tajine of meat and plum, very tasty and costs 120 dirhams Almost 12$. For dessert we took a very tasty cheese cake and a fondant au Chocolat.Very pleasant experience, nicely surprised and I highly recommend. And ll visit again.

The only restaurant really open when we went, as it was the first day of Eid, this place has an amazing interior with great Moroccan food, from the tagines to the salad and starter. Would highly recommend as a place to get authentic food for a good price, and the staff were very nice and courteous.

Decided to try this place based on reviews. We ordered the fish soup, seafood salad, and grilled squid. Soon after we placed our order the waiter came back with a squid on a plate and said that only a large squid was available for 20 dirham more. The smaller squid for the regular price was finished. We said okay. The soup was okay, needed some more seasoning and could've used a few more pieces of seafood. The seafood salad was simply boiled clams, squid, fish, small shrimp and a few pieces of salad veggies. Five minutes later the waiter brought the dressing which tasted like bottled creamy Italian. Nothing special. The grilled calamari (squid) looked significantly smaller than what they showed us. I was a bit surprised by its size when it arrived. Regardless, the squid was good - no complaints on the flavour, but again nothing special and no sauces or lemon wedges to accompany it. We finished eating and paid the bill of 235 dirham. Quite a lot for what we ate. Upon leaving I saw a much smaller squid (about the same size of what we received grilled) on ice at the front of the restaurant. This affirmed my thought of "bait and switch" and I left with a bad taste for this restaurant. I won't return.

We (group of 10) asked our tour guide to take us to a restaurant where local people would dine at. We wanted to stay away from touristy style restaurants and we were not disappointed. We had to rely on some translations from the tour guide helping us as our server didn't really speak English (as probably this place cater mostly to locals). The food quality was pretty good, and the prices were much cheaper than other Tangier restaurants we've been to. Service was not too bad but could be improved.

点餐之后在室外餐厅等了两个小时告诉我们没有米饭了不能做海鲜饭。甜点催了好多次半个小时之后才上。味道也很一般,海鲜酱料撒的到处都是。it's a very terrible meal and service. first, we waited for about half an hour but they told us that we have to wait for another hour. but after that, there was nothing and we were told that there was no rice so the paella cannot be served. The seafood is awful and nothing fresh. The sauce is smelly and its only use is to cover the more smelly seafood. An awful experience. Never come here or you must regret for your silly decision!DearWith all my respect, i was very surprised and it hurt me a lot to receive this complaint in Chinese!! something very strange for our staff so from a community and one of the favorites clients than we respect and appreciate too much, for their exemplary education model, their behavior and remarkable kindness. Indeed I apologize about what happened & inconvenience.by the other hand I beg to differ the service manager revealed to me that the restaurant by this moment was completely full & reserved, with 2 groups inside of almost 60 people and they advised you that the service unfortunately will be slow taking more than an hour. despite this warning you have insisted to sit on the outside terrace.for the rest of comments be sure that we have a high self-confidence, the pictures and different reviews received from customers are the best proof of our daily efforts and sacrifice to excel in our activity

What a stunning restaurant in a stunning place!Enjoyed a really good business lunch here recently, food is excellent, staff are super efficient and friendly and the venue is just out of this word! A stunning cottage style setting with an expansive outdoor seating area which is just sublime - the perfect view. It's a very out of the way location, far off the beaten track and this adds to the attraction, it's not inundated with tourists making the atmosphere of the restaurant that much better.Great venue for a relaxing afternoon lunch in the open - I could linger there for hours given half the chance!!!

I’ve been a loyal customer to tangerino for many years. Great food, reasonable price and not bad service. Unfortunately, lately they hired a non professional, low IQ supervisor with a nasty attitude called Khadijah. We came and sat down and waited for half hours and no body came for service, and suddenly a servant ignored our follow up and went to serve another table who were occupied after us. We complained to the supervisor, Khadijah and instead of apologizing, she was looking for excuses and almost blamed us. It is a shame to see one off my favorite restaurant turned like this. I really hope that the management look in to this as this not the first time happens with this so called Khadijah. Too Bad .....

Le Saveur du Poisson

Reviews said to go here. Our guide said to go here. Our hotel said the same. Only Le Saveur takes no reservations and is so popular that a line forms outside on the steps of the hill leading to the Médina. So we went at a quiet time, 4 o’clock, and only had to wait on the steps for a half an hour. All this and not knowing what to expect! What you got was a unique Moroccan experience with locals far outnumbering tourists. You sit where there is an opening, the 2 of us sharing a big table for 10. You get the fixed price meal of the day, consisting of fish soup, breads and mesi, a fish and spinach something, a whole fish platter, and desert. Wow!! Was it good! And noisy and fun, with owner/waiter calling me big Boss, and winking at my wife. And on leaving, each diner received a small gift (a mug for us).My wife isn’t a big fish eater but loved the whole experience.Go and enjoy.
