Reviewed By David VWords cannot describe how happy and satisfied we were with our visit to this lovely Riad. The marvelous owner personally came to the airport with her private car to meet us and transfer us quickly to the property without any waste of time. She made sure we had all the information we needed for our stay. The rooms in the riad are absolutely gorgeous, well maintained with just the right decorations to make you feel you are at home in a special place. The breakfast is generous and made to order, and the view of sunrise over the ocean during breakfast is a big plus. We cannot wait to return to Dakhla and repeat this experience. Thank you very much to the lovely owners.

The place is perfect to relax , surf, and other activities, the full board buffet is really rich and quality, you can hear the waives all day and night long from you bungalow ,which is just amazing, The hotel has all facilities , i do recommend the place either in solo or family as the site is really exceptional and the staff is always smiling and available , had such a memorable stay, and looking forward to come back!

The location is on a quiet street. I found it easy in the morning to walk the .5km to the seaside for breakfast. Highly recmment

It's an (litteral) oasis in dakhla with lots of greenery, beautiful spots to rest and the nicest host (and pets ;) ). It's out of the city centre but that's what you want because the centre has no appeal. The rooms are beautifully appointed; moroccan with a European accent here and there. They are spacious and the beds are super comfortable. The domain has lots of little seating arrangements, lounge chairs, tents, .... and a vegetable garden. They also have a basin filled with spring water that feels warm to the touch. Ideal to relax in after a long day of desert touring. The host has been in dakhla for over 13 years and is very knowledgeable about what to do, what to see, where to eat and the history of the sahara and its people. She can help you arrange any tour or activity you want. Also the staff is really nice! I recommend getting dinner there at least once. She has a great cook! Honestly, all of this and I feel like I'm still not doing this place justice. I can't imagin a better place to stay at. A few things to note: no TV (go outside), no WiFi in the rooms(read a book), open bathroom/shower (get close and personal) and 3 dogs on the premises (they're nice!). I just enjoyed my time there, hence not a lot of pictures.

Reviewed By fr0st_88xAt the time of writing the kite school was still lacking infrastructure, especially if you have your own equipment there is no place to properly clean and dry the kites. What for me realy made the difference is the staff, they did the extra mile to do everything they could to make our stay pleasant and comfortable.

Reviewed By hantscolinOur flight from Marrakech was delayed by 15 hours and informed Dar Dakhla (using the Booking.Com messenger). They were OK to pick us up at Dakhla airport even though it was now a 4.a.m.landing. We arrived and, strangely, there was no one to meet us so we took a taxi. We woke the Front Desk and he told us the hotel was full. Apparently a group of 11 overlanders arrived in the evening and they resold our booked room. Even though there were other hotels nearby, they had made no arrangement to accommodate us and essentially abandoned us. We had planned to stay 7 nights but, having contacted Booking.Com, we found an alternative (Imperial Playa Hotel). This is not easy at 5.a.m. as nothing opens until 8.a.m. in Dakhla. We could not believe Dar Dakhla's lack of caring for its customers and the short term greed. Well, that is our story. Don't let it be yours.
