stopped by on a tuesday afternoon around3:00--not real busy-i had the po boy which is very good-wife had the burger sliders in which she liked-victoria did a good job--the onion rings were greasy-but we will be back-we like watching the st. louis cards on tv!!!!

We are huge steak fans so our expectations are very high. Great food. Great music. Great service. Outdoor seating with romantic music. The owner visits every table. You wonât be disappointed. We have never had a bad experience here. If you want romantic and exquisite, you should try this place. Oh, and by the way, homemade dressings for salad. Fresh bread. Wine is not overpriced. Quaint setting. On the water. Donât fall for commercialized restaurants.Love this place!

Our friends wanted to celebrate my wifes Birthday and they chose JB Hooks. It was a perfect evening with fantastic views of the Lake and we were seated In the new addition. The Rye Old Fashions were amazing and the Moscato was perfect. The Salmon Bisque was delicious along with the Ceasar salad. The lump crab filets were cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. The lobster pasta and black and blue pasta was fantastic. The atmosphere is amazing. Our waiter Jake was so helpful, friendly and a great waiter. We really enjoyed our evening. If you're looking for a very fine restaurant this hits it out of the park,it is a Hidden Gem. Unbelievable attention to detail from everything from the food to the decor and I can't forget the staff. We were lucky enough to have a waitress named Ali who took amazing care of us. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds. We had seen the all Billboards throughout the lake and the mentioning of the many awards that this restaurant has won, once you've eaten there you'll understand why.

We met here with a group of 16 friends for dinner and the management did a great job giving us tables that were perfect. Our waitress did a great job keeping all the orders straight and we received our food in a timely manner. Everyone was very happy with what they had ordered. It was a first time visit for all our friends and they were all very impressed. I had the BLT which was very good. A great place to dine!

We were wonderfully surprised to be able to enjoy fine dining outdoors at the Windrose Marker 26. You can also have a great dinner inside the restaurant. But for those perfect evenings, we would recommend asking for an outdoor table. We had a great waitress and the staff was very attentive. In the past, the steaks might have been larger then this year and the presentation might have been a little nicer. All in all it was a great evening.Hi miriamt660-Thank you so much for your review. We just had dinner at JJâs at the Copper Pot. Excellent Lobster bisque. Steak had a compound garlic butter that was fabulous. The house salad dressing is so flavorful that people were buying it to take home. Keith is skilled behind the bar and demonstrated mixology beyond pour liquor into a glass. Non smoking is appreciated as well. We will be back and recommend you try it I appreciate your kind words. Our salad dressing and house seasoning are popular items to purchase as gifts or to enjoy at home. Keith is pretty awesome and I'll make sure he gets wind of this great review. Shrimp Daddy's is one of our favorite spots at the Lake of the Ozarks. The fish po' boy is one of the best fish sandwiches I've ever had, and my husband said the same thing about his shrimp po' boy. The lagniappes are addictive, and I don't usually even like sweets. They get super busy on the weekends at dinnertime, so get there early unless you want to wait an hour or more. This recent 4th of July weekend, we walked in at 4:30 and the place was empty, but it was full by 5:00.

Spouse and I celebrated our 57th anniversary here last week. Staff was wonderfully accomodating since we were a few minutes early for dinner. Terrific view of the lake from several tables. Service was above reproach, staff was very attentive, catering to our every wish. My salmon was outstanding, spouse thought her marsala was a little dark but still very good - excellent wine. We were too full for desert. Love Ruthie D's, we'll be back.
