We visited twice during our stay and both times the quality of the seafood was excellent. The house wine was good quality and the set seafood menu for four well thought through and very tasty. The staff were helpful and by the standards of the Port restaurants the whole place felt good value.I would recommend a visit.

Food was fabulous but they are having a laugh at charging â¬18 for a gin and tonic and charging for garlic butter as an extra with a â¬35 main course. When questioned all the staff scarpered. Will not be returning. Neither will our friends that come for the summer season and go every yearAs we wrote to your Facebook message: we are so sorry about your experience. If you go to other places on the island you will see that they have the same prices like us (you pay more than the product in a restaurant like Can Pep, you pay location, for example, this is not Pere Garau in Palma or another neighbourhood). We are so sorry you won't return. Hope you find the perfect place for you in our island. Thanks a lot for writing us.

This is one of those places where you can have either a fabulous experience or s disappointing one. Last time we went my husband had the fish by weight and the price was extortionate when you he bill came. We haven't been back for a year or so but decided to try it again. This time we chose things with a fixed price. I had the lobster ravioli..... 5 ravioli for 26 euros is a bit pricey but it was delicious...and my husband has the chateaubriand which was lovely. The house wine was great too. When it came to liqueurs the waiter poured the largest Cointreau we have ever seen. We had a great evening this time and yet the couple on the table next to us complained that they had been wait an hour for their food. So you see it is very hit and miss here. Just be careful what you order to avoid a huge bill. Thanks a lot for you review. Love us please :-) ;-)

Situated in Cala Llamp (Port dâAndratx), on the last part of the Majorca coast still with the authentic, typical feel of the island, which has made it the Mediterranean's most famous over the last 40 years, the Beach Club Gran Folies is a restaurant-bar c
We have a house in Mallorca and know the Island quite well. In August the Island is usually quite crowded so we decided to enjoy some privacy at Grand Folies Beach Club. The location, the beds, the ocean and also service is really good. You will get ultimate island feeling. However this also comes for quite a price. Where the true disappointment happened was with the food. I am sorry but if you sell yourself to be a high quality beach club food should also live up to it. It sort of reminded me more of a canteen rather than a beach club restaurant. It was ok but NOT OK for the price. I will come again but with a full belly and only to enjoy the beautiful ocean and amenities! Dear JuliaH79First of all we would like to thank you for taking your time to write your opinion about our club. We strive to create an unforgettable day in our beach club and the fact that you enjoyed the atmosphere, entertainment and our beds make us happy. We will be glad to welcome you again. Best regards, The Beach Club Gran Folies team.

We really enjoyed our food here: olives and aioli to start, then pizzas. The pizzas were thin crust, with lots of topping and were delicious.Unfortunately I was put off this restaurant when I ordered a second Aperol Spritz, which was prepared by a different waiter. I noticed him put the ice in the glass with his hand and when I saw him opening the bottle of sparkling wine with his teeth (!) I grimaced - which he saw. At this point he made another drink. This time he picked up the ice with tongs and there were no unhygienic practices. The first drink was thrown away.

We were staying for a week in Peguera but decided one day to visit Port d'Andratx. Truly lovely little town.We decided to have lunch while we were there but from looking at the menus on display in the restaurtants facing the sea we thought that most seemed overpriced and surely there must be better value to have elsewhere. When walking along one of the shopping streets a bit back from sea we came across La Gallega which looked like a nice place to eat at a much more modest price. This was about an hour before opening time but we returned later when they were just opening. After having a bowl of green olives to nibble on we had a bowl of mussels each, they were truly huge and very tasty, along with a bowl of Patata Fritas, a bowl of freshly made alioli and two baskets of bread, all washed down with a jug of the house white wine. The service was very good. While we were sitting outside on a shopping street it was a pedestrianised section and so pleasantly quiet with no petrol/diesel fumes from passing traffic unlike some of the restaurants next to the sea.

Maybe it's a dangerous temptation, an attack on some strict diet. But our discreet food should not be disconcerted! The best thing about diets is the pleasure of breaking them! At Savantry, you have the opportunity to do so.
We walked past looking for a venue and saw some jerry rigged planks being fitted to the public balustrades and figured it was an inventive way to extend their restaurant. When we came back they looked charming with 2 seats at a little table with candle etc. So we hopped on the stools and ordered tapas style. The bacon date rolls are fabulous- get some! Sangria is great too - nice and fruity. Service is efficient and friendly.

We stopped in just by chance but my first impression was how clean the place is . Ate on the outside patio across from the restaurant and tried two local Spanish red wines by the glass. Our waiter was great attentive but not intrusive and spoke good English .We ordered the grilled octopus which was cooked exactly to my liking and then had a seafood paella which was really good , the seafood was cooked to perfection.I didn't go inside but stopped in later on to use the washroom witch was spotless .Our waiter got a 30 % tip but that had to do with me not understanding the exchange rate and lack of small bills but he deserved it.

A small Family driven heaven of a restaurant under the trees, with very good food! Not the easiest to find in the outskirts of Andratx, but plenty parking nearby.
