I have only visited once....so far. This place was recommended by friends who said the octopus tacos we're delicious. I had 3 tacos.....octopus, shrimp, arracherra (carne asada). They were all good but my favorite by far was the arracherra! The tacos we're in the $4-4.50 range which isn't cheap but they have happy hour prices Tue,Thu,Fri 3-6 and all day Wednesday 3 tacos for $10. Service was very friendly but a little slow, but they we're very busy. Definitely worth a try.

The Jolly Roger is situated at the marina, which is why it has such fabulous views! We sat upstairs to have an even better view. The food was fantastic. Everyone at our table loved their order. The fish some of us had tasted very fresh and was excellently prepared. Get the Mahi Mahi - the best! The wait staff are very friendly and helpful. Great service, great food! Gotta check it out!!!Thanks so much for sharing your feedback with us! We're so glad you enjoyed our Mahi Mahi, as it's one of our favorites too! We can't wait to have you come back soon!

We enjoyed having dinner here. The menu offers a variety of pasta dishes and really enjoyed our meal. The service was very friendly and quick to serve at all levels, from seating, refilling drinks and serving food. We enjoyed the pesto tortellini and fettuccine. Side salads and bread are a great start to the meal. Enjoyed wine with our meal and appreciated the selection. Ambience is homey but it was quite warm inside making it uncomfortable to enjoy the meal after awhile.

Joe's Crab Shack is a large, open-air restaurant with great harbor views, excellent service and food. Our Server Sheryl was amaaazing! Always stopping as she passed our table to see if we needed anything. And, always with the biggest smile on her face. I ordered the 3 grilled lobster tails, which were delicious and reasonably priced for lobster. Partner had the Fisherman's Platter that was loaded with fish and shrimp. I volunteered to help finish and everything was delicious. Price was very reasonable. Location in Oceanside is Harbor Drive - walking distance from Ocean Adventures whale watching boat tours!!

Went there on a Friday night was busy but still a place to sit. The wine pour was easily 10 ounces which was great. Had the cioppino and it was fantastic with some bread for the tomato broth. Huge knuckle of king crab and the rest was cooked perfectly. With the view on the water this was a place I would go back to again in a second.

We sat on the patio / deck and enjoyed an evening meal. Pan fried scallops, shrimp cocktail, clam chowder, blackened salmon all very good. Ordered a bottle of Austin Hope, Cabernet Sauvignon, very good wine from Paso Robles, CA. Prices were reasonable as compared to other places we have been. Best meal of trip.

Great 2 hour stop for amazing Baja seafood and margaritas! So much to choose from and margaritas are a must! They Even serve pitchers of margaritas! My place! We are sitting right on the harbor on a cool September Saturday- couldnât ask for a better setting in Oceanside!

Nice outdoor seating if you ride bikes to Oceanside and itâs super close to the train station so very convenient. Has a nice upscale friendly atmosphere and an extensive bar with lots of beer choices to satisfy. I found the fish tacos not to be very tasty, probably because they are grilled and not deep fried. The fish and chips here are great. The food here is good but not as cheap as a burger place. I guess fish costs more. Anyway a nice place to meet and hang with friends.

Beautifully done restaurant....great lay out. Wonderful seating, inside and out. Awesome crew of waiters, and Hosts. Manager checked in too. Had the Key Lime Pie Martini, complete with whipped cream on top. That was dessert first...soooo good. The tacos were good, clean eating at its finest. The rosemary yeast rolls..and aioli sweet butter was out of this world. I highly recommend this place...right on the corner at the Pier.

Glad we came in for early dinner as the place is small and was packed before we finished. Delicious sushi. Weakest part of the choices we made was the ceviche. After having been to the co-joined Whet Noodle, figured we would try this side of the house. Glad we did. Could have kept rolling with the rolls. Will be back again--and will be really hungry next time.
