Very friendly service, and great views of the bay. The entree choices change frequently. We had the steak and the catch of the day. Both were well prepared and delicious. No complaints, and we would definitely eat here again. Thank you for mentioning the friendly service and great views. We met friends here for dinner. They were quite busy but service was good. We ordered drinks and looked over the menu. Our table all had different foods. Steak, mahi mahi, flounder, oysters, and shrimp. All was very good. Service was good. Everyone was very friendly. We would eat here again. Enjoyed the peach cobbler for dessert.

Not impressed by the outside, I trusted my husband who had eaten here several times before. WOW!! Wonderful food!!! The Swamp Soup, served just after you order was outstanding. Mixture of greens, beans & pea in a delightful broth. I had the oysters & shrimp, both delicious and plentiful. Others in our party had fish, po-boys and patty melts, all with fries. Everyone in our party raved about the food. May not be much to look at, but the food is awesome!

All of our fried food entrees were good! Beer was cold. Happy hour prices were excellent. Good vibe of a local place. Do not order the shrimp cocktail appetizer. You will be disappointed.

Weâve been there several times. Great gumbo, great fried shrimp, good prices, good service (but how much tip when you order at the counter?) this was the first time at any restaurant I noticed a credit card charge in the receipt. Itâs about 3%, say a dollar on a $30 meal, but still, they should tell you and offer that cash saves the fee. And are there different fees for different cards? I donât know. Is there a fee for debit cards? I donât know.Employees didnât tell me ahead, and if there was a sign I didnât see it.Despite the fee I will be back but will bring cash, and I would appreciate advice on tipping here.

My husband and I found this place on Trip Advisor. The reviews were good. It did not disappoint. We both ordered the lunch special, grilled chicken sandwich, side, and a drink. It was delicious. We tried the fries and onion rings. We sat outside and our server was Ashley, and she was great. We will go back for sure.

Each person at our table ordered something different, and each of us was delighted with our choice. Highly recommend the shrimp and grits. My table mates were equally enthusiastic about their salads, sandwiches, crab cakes and soups. Basically you canât go wrong,regardless of what you order! Though vitally important, the food is just one aspect of what makes Tamaraâs so special. Prompt, attentive service and fabulous decor round out the experience. There are many reasons why Tamaraâs is a localsâ favorite.

Everything looked good on the menu so it was very difficult to decide but the veal piccata was amazing. The bread was light and the salad was much better than other "Italian" restaurants ;-) The best part was our server, Tammy, she was very attentive and personable.
