Haven't been to Kerkorian Theater at the BPM for a while. In last visits we often lamented the absence of dining choices and the deserted/underutilized space. It was great to finally have a spacious thriving restaurant to go to after a movie. We ordered 2 pounds of shrimp, corns, sweet potato fries and broccoli. The shrimp/corn came in a plastic bag filled with juicy, tasty, spicy garlic butter. It was real flavorful but messy to eat (we have not acquired the peeling dexterity yet). The bib and paper towel provided little helped. Good thing there's a huge sink with soap right outside the restrooms to wash hands after the feast. There seems to be a loyal following of this ritual of eating seafood. The server was attentive and friendly. A minor complaint is that the sides seem a bit pricy.
Buffet was very expensive and the food was bland, dried out and seemed like it was there for hours! If I knew before would have grabbed food at a stand.

Located in the Buena Park Place shopping center next to the movie theaters, Asia Buffet recently reopened following a major renovation. NOTE that while they have a La Palma Avenue address, the most convenient parking to the restaurant can be found via the entrance off Dale Avenue. The term âbuffetâ can conjure up a lot of images, fears and assumptions in potential diners. However, as buffets go this restaurant is not too bad. There is a wide selection of entrees and side dishes at the buffet, including Western items as pizza, green salad and jello. When you first walk among the many self-serve stations, you will no doubt encounter many of the deep-fried offerings you would expect to find at a Chinese buffet. If thatâs a concern, you should be able to find a number of items that will leave you feeling less guilty about eating them. The sautéed mushrooms, Chinese greens and green beans were all particularly good, as were the steamed shellfish and fish. You can also find a large selection of sushi and sashimi as well as other seafood dishes. If youâre worried about freshness, thereâs a Mongolian barbecue station where you select your own ingredients and have a cook prepare your entrée in front of you.The restaurant has abundant seating. The servers were attentive to removing our plates from the table and filling up our drinks. The price was fairly reasonable given the variety of food choices available. While there was nothing extraordinary about the food here, it was certainly adequate and should be able to satisfy your craving for Chinese/Asian food when visiting the Knottâs Berry Farm area of Buena Park.
