Booked for dinner after many phone calls not being answered. Had the special garlic prawns which were tiny and tasted like they had been cooked in marmite served with a slice of white toast?!? Then ordered Thai chicken curry which my friend said was tasty. My tuna was so tough I sent it back. Told I would have a new one in 2 mins. After 15 mins when friend had finished eating and the table was cleared I went to find out where mine was. It arrived several minutes later stone cold. Sent it back and didnât pay for it. This place should not be no1. Try sunshine instead and see my review Would not recommend jungleDear valued guest, thank you for taking time to review Jungle Beach Ahungalla. We are sorry that you had this experience at our restaurant. As you can see in our menu the Sweet & Spicy Prawns are a starter, so they are not big sized and that they are served with toast. We are having very clear rules that our service should sell tuna steaks only when they are very fresh, so that they don't get tough. This was definitely our mistake and the management has taken action already. This should not happen anymore. Also it is not possible for our kitchen to prepare a new tuna steak in 2 minutes. Also there for we have taken action and excuse the wrong information of our service staff. He should have offered you a sear fish steak as an alternative.So it would be great to see you once again. You would definitely revisit your review. Thank you and have a nice day!

I went with a friend and ordered salad and a plate of fish and chips. I got soup instead of salad and a bottle of beer which I did not order. My friend who is diabetic was given a warm bottle of coca cola. I was charged 1000 rupees 5.60 US for the beer.I live locally and will never return again.Dear Guest,Thank you for taking your time. My husband and I had lunch at Jonas place in December food was great and reasonably priced. Jona was great to chat with and gave us lots of info on the area and ideas what to do Christmas period. If your in Ambalangoda eat at Jonas you wonât be dissatisfied. Husband had fried chicken and rice was amazing! Had fresh watermelon juice lovely too. Thanks jona and his family lovely people.

This is a beach boys hut running without license price not cheap This beach boys offer free fruits to the tourist at juce and get friendly tourist think there generous.Once tourist get friendly with them they offer there tour package they take to there house for Saree dressing and sellingThey charge madugaga 15-20$ per person even five people go they charge the same price boat charge only rs 2000Then they take to ayurvedic shop keep commission If a single women or two lady's visit there hut they try to talk about sex many old lady's prefer to be with them and some couples promoting them because beach boys looks after them wellAny moment police can visit to there hut if they caught selling alcohol tourist too can have problem

We came across this place from TripAdvisor itself while looking for a different lunch experience during our stay at shinagawa.The location is great as itâs right by the water where Madu falls to the ocean (recommend that you sit right by the water as itâs much cooler and has a good views) We had the prawn curry with steamed rice and my husband the grilled crab and chips. Both dishes were delicious and the seafood was super fresh. Really enjoyed our visit and will keep this in mind next time We drive past. Note to owners : would be good to clean up the waterfront regularly it would make it that much better!!
