Impromptu visit as a familiar of 4 mid evening on a Friday. Place was quiet after the heavy rain but absolutely perfect for a bite to eat. Was attracted by the bespoke burgers on the menu. Really friendly service in discussing all options when ordering. Burgers were absolute quality, both burgers and rolls were homemade and you could really taste it! Chef came out to discuss if we liked the food too. With we did. Finished off with homemade ice cream. A great variety of flavours including crumble du Pomm and caramel buerre de Sal. Great food, friendly service certainly recommend. All staff are passionate about rugby as the bar name suggests. Imagine it would be a great place to watch a game.

Staying in La Pouliguen I walked past this restaurant every morning enroute to the boulangerie to buy the morning croissants and kept stopping to look at the blackboard outside for the menu of the day !! Checked Tripadvisor and Voila !!It is a fabulous bistro run by the ever present hardworking proprietor who looked after us with style. We managed to translate the menu between his excellent english and my stumbling french. A great menu with fresh vegetables and locally sourced produce plus organic wines of which he is rightly proud. We went for the 23 euro three course menu and could hardly believe the wonderful meal we ate at this price and don't get me started on the chocolate fondant dessert. Highly recommended.
