We came for a fish fry and arrived on Friday at 5:15. Were promptly taken to a table but we asked about a booth (there were 2 empty) but were told they were reserved for guests arriving at 5:45 and 6:30!. We grudgingly sat at the table, knowing with certainty that we could have sat at a booth. While eating noticed an occupied booth emptied out at 5:35. So basically, there was no reason not to seat us at a booth! We also noted that another couple were denied booth seating just after we arrived. The hosts need to better manage seating! But the food was good and so was the service. We had been there several times before this.

We had a recent birthday party with 10 people at NYBP. While we couldn't make reservations we were still seated in a reasonable amount of time. The menu is large enough to accommodate everyone's diets! Service was prompt, friendly and patient. Everyone enjoyed their meals and will return to NYBP.

We go here all the time. Have always appreciated the service, love the atmosphere and the high back booths make our silly family fun feel like weâre almost at home getting away with our nonsense without many people noticing. A must stop in the village of Fairport, just north of the Erie Canal. Excellent food, the service is great and a very comfortable place to sit and relax for a beer, snack, lunch, or dinner. A wife range of choices to eat and the portions are above average. We love visiting Donnelly's. Right next door is a great place for pizza: TKs. A must stop as well!

Had dinner there with my husband. Half of the place is pure sports bar scene, the other half is sit-down restaurant. Great selection of beers and mixed drinks. Clam chowder was good, my husband thought his beef on weck lacked a bit of crunch and needed more salt on the bun but overall was good. My hot pastrami sandwich was very good. Friendly and prompt service, good value. Would go there again.

This bar has been a fixture of Palmyra for may years, and under a few different names. The current owner is someone who used to hang with my younger brother (I'm almost 62 now, so we won't worry about the math). It hasn't changed a whole lot - but it still knows it's clientele, and you won't get socked with big city prices for beer. I recently returned to my hometown to visit friends and family (the few who are left) and briefly stopped in. It's definitely a neighborhood bar, and if you listen closely, you'll get a feel for a place that may be a bit provincial, but they're real people (and they're my people - even if I am diametrically opposed to them in many respects). If John is there, tell him Dusty said hi - and tell him I never sing Daniel by Elton John in karaoke anymore.

We recently held a rehearsal dinner at the Blue Heron. I was extremely pleased and everything exceeded my expectations. The event planner, Daphne, went out of her way to accommodate all of our requests - including a last minute gluten free meal and a high chair and child's meal for the ring bearer. The food was delicious and the prices were very fair. It was a beautiful night so we enjoyed a cocktail hour on the outdoor deck before dinner. The food, value, atmosphere and staff were outstanding and I would certainly recommend it!

Small, local pub offers great craft beer, delicious mules, fantastic vibe and the best fish fry in the Rochester area! The staff are super friendly. Service is great. Food is served quickly. There's something for everyone with different theme nights during the week - tacos, wings, trivia, Friday fish fry and live music on Saturdays. Must try - twisted rail sauce (and the spicy version!). It's great with mozzarella sticks, fries, anything! Fish fry is outstanding including amazing cole slaw!
