We prefer the bar area as itâs cozier than the dining room. This is the first time we had their wings and it was agreed they are the best weâve had in a very long time.We appreciate you coming in to dine with us and love to hear you enjoyed the wings. We'll keep them hot and fresh for your next visit.

On our quick evening in Albany we choose this place and we are glad we did. Comfortable feel immediately upon walking in. Itâs has separate rooms with different agendas in each. Bar with TVs and high tops. Dinner type area with tables then a music/bar areaWe sat in the dining area which was casual. Our server was engaging and gave plenty of tips on menu. We had the chili and French onion soup. Both were amazing The beer was great tooStreet parking only!

C. H. Evans Brewing Company at the Albany Pump Station, Albanyâs premier location for food and hand crafted beer. With up to 10 in-house brews to choose from, The Pump Station is sure to have something for every beer lover.
Nice atmosphere. Relaxed brewpub feel. Waitress and other staff are great. Beers we tried were okay, nothing stood out, but all were drinkable some better than others. Do a flight, pick ones to your taste. The food was good, had large portions. We would return.

Background: I was with a large group (7) of colleagues in town for a conference. Originally had made reservations, but ended up showing up about an hour early, but was seated quickly with no problems. Atmosphere: A casual, bar atmosphere. The restaurant is filled with antiqued, long picnic benches and tables that can accommodate about 8 or so people. Music was playing both in the main dining room/bar area and in the back kitchen- where you wait for your free pizza. Service: Was a bit slow, but it seemed there was only a few servers on the floor and it was pretty full when we arrived. Our waiter was friendly and patient as we asked a bunch of questions (What's on the pickle plate? Is it pickles?) and requests- (in stead of chips, can I have fries?). Food came out slowly, but pizza was there to fill in the gaps. At least apps came out fairly quickly.Food: A unique mix of modern and classic dishes. Lots of twists! Like the pickle plate had lots of pickled items (cauliflower, fiddle-head ferns, garlic, but no traditional pickles). Many of us ordered the pulled pork, which did NOT disappoint. Friend had the burger said it was good and other friend who had the curry chicken sandwich was happy too. Would I go back? IT is definitely a place to grab a casual meal with friends or colleagues after work. It had a fun atmosphere and solid food. I would come back if I was in the area again!

If you stop for a drink its ok, if you stop for food, lunch, dinner, and sit in the dining area you probably going to be there for a while, service is very, very slow and many times one dinner comes out before the others, also seem to always forget salads or appetizers.
We have lived her for quite some time and have seen many owners in this establishment. It would appear that this owner has made some tremendous progress with building up a good reputation so we decided to stop by for dinner with friends. I'm not going to say it was a bad meal because it wasn't. We all had burgers/fries which were okay; nothing over the top but that was fine; I just thought the service could have been better since there were basically only 3 table with people eating at them and the service was non-existent. Will we come back again - if we're in the mood for burgers etc., we might but, as I said previously, nothing over the top for any one of us. Too bad since we had such high hopes for this to be our new 'go to' place.

Needed a place to eat while traveling and this place happened to be on the way. Services was fast and quick. menu reminded me of your average bar and cafe menu. Ordered some burgers which where ok, go for the bigger burgers meat looks like it not a frozen patty like the one on the 1/3 lb burger. steak sandwich was just that piece of steak on a sandwich. skip the sandwich and go for just the steak instead. skip the fried clams altogether chewy. I would not bother returning here if i was back in the area.
