The decor looked like it could be good but this place is a noisy bar with pool and foosebal tables in the dining area.Beer selection was good but the food was poor. Waitress sevice was poor and she really did not care what we thought of the food.Go for the beer, not the food!

4 years ago, my wife and I would go weekly. Now, our last two trips, have been terrible. Almost a year had passed since our last bad experience. Food was cold. My chicken on my pasta was literally cold at the edges. The cheese inside my wifes enchiladas was not even melted. This seems to be a chain-wide problem. Waitress tried her best but can't do everything. Go elsewhere.

This was actually the first place we dine at in Downingtown. The location is situated directly on the golf course of Downingtwown Country Club. There is a fairly small bar area that is nice. But the outside patio is best in good weather. Service was friendly and quick. I ordered the Cranberry Turkey sandwich and my date chose the Burger. I ordered a local ale and my partner a specialty drink. From what she told me they make a perfect martini. The beer selection is... wanting, but mine was good. Our food came and it looked scrumptious. And in fact it was. Her burger was well cooked and juicy. My sandwich was perfection. Absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it. I also like their home-cut fries. Very, very good. But a few weeks later we went back here and I ordered a steak and she a special chicken dish for that day. Neither was cooked well and not very good taste-wise considering the price. Stick with their usual pub fare. You'll enjoy it.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while so I was happy I finally found some time. I went during the week while my car was being worked on. The place looks really nice and the bartender was great. Beer was ok but some styles were only available in small glasses. Maybe I went on an off day bit the food was by far the worst meal I had ever had. I ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of tater tots. While the brisket was tender, the sauce they put in it looked like liquid coal and tasted burnt. The tots had a ton of garlic on them. I have had other people tell me they thought the food was good, but I'm not sure if I would give them a second chance.

Crazy random stuff which ai wanted to share. We had pretty amazing food but the service was a big strange. The server brought out our drinks and fully spilled 1/4 of somebody's soda on our table where nobody was sitting. We thought ok she will be back to kinff of clean it up......nope she pretty much ignored up except to drop the food and check. To add to the twighlight zone e experience there was a water with lemon hanging out above is on the wall next to our table...mmfull out ghetto with the random leftover cup of water ready to spill on us. I took a photo and put it in the review. Thanks for taking the time to give us this feedback. A local restaurant that has been under the same ownership for as long as I can remember, continues never to disappoint. My neighbor and I went there for a Friday night and found out that the special was Prime Rib. Very nice, mature server added to the evening. The meal was exceptionally good throughout. Prime rib was cooked to perfection and the price was very reasonable. I have to add that the fire in the wood burning fireplace added to the ambiance.

There were 20 of us and we chose from the full menu AND separate checks. Wonderful. We will be back!

Ate here with three friends early on Saturday bday evening. The room is small and if there are even a small number of people at the bar it gets very loud. By the end of our dinner we were practically screaming to hear each other. The food was good pub food. Friends ordered the poutine, wings, a burger, and the kimchi Rueben All were well prepared and enjoyable. I had the fish tacos which were very good. The failure of the evening was a plantain, chocolate, cashew concoction that was inedible. Plantains were not ripe and the dish was served cold. Our server took it off the bill. The place would be much improved with some soundproofing.
