Nice pub well away from the hustle and bustle. Plenty of outside sitting with shade. Perfect for enjoying a refreshing ale or two (if you’re not driving) and appreciating the good selection of food available.Staff very welcoming and their recommendations on what to order for a light lunch we spot on. Well worth a visit.

Lone Pine Tavern

The owners of this good pub have kindly allowed our motorcycle club to hold our monthly meetings in one of their rooms. I have been going to these meetings for a number of years and have always been happy. The food is good and the beers are reasonably priced. It is a family-friendly place that is clean and comfortable.

If you're looking for a cheap lunch time pub meal, then Carousel is not a bad place. We had one of the $10 lunch specials, chicken schnitzel and salad and chips and the servings were quite large. Flavour is unfortunately typical pub food but you get what you pay for.

The Village Hotel

This place used to be a fantastic place to take the family out for a cheap dinner but our dining experience last night has changed my mind. The place was filthy, the food bar where the side salads, sauces and chips were had all the food on the floor and sauces dripping all over the bench front. The 'free' sides from the bar looked like someone else's leftovers. To top off our horrible night, we were pretty much yelled at by one of the staff (I'm assuming he was possibly the pub manager) to stop my little children from running around the seating area where we were. How can they expect kids to stay put in their chairs when a lollies dispenser and a game machine with chocolates in them are in the same vicinity! Clearly this place is no longer a 'family friendly' place. I don't think we'll ever return to this place again!
