This little restaurant in Toukley serves very fresh and authentic Italian food with attention to detail and nicely presented. Lovely atmosphere with nice classical/Spanish style guitar background music. Staff were attentive and polite. If management could work on improving serving times, this would be “the place” to dine in Toukley, hands down. We booked ahead for 6.30 because we had a young child and anticipated food between 7 and 7.30. The kids meal was served separately at 7.50pm. Then around 8pm the other mains were served with the last two coming out after 8.15. We were not the only table that experienced this on the night.Unfortunately I don’t rate this restaurant as “family friendly” because of this.Secondly, I know that management read these reviews and I hope they take this on board as an honest appraisal and an opportunity to improve the business. I know that business is difficult and I would like this business to continue to grow and succeed. No amount of charm or apology or defending the wait because “it’s all cooked fresh” can change a customer experience. Talk is cheap and you should offer a discount on the bill if you cannot serve customers in a reasonable period of time. An act of good faith such as this will improve your customers experience and make them much more valued. Waiting over 45min for a meal is unreasonable, over an hour indicates there is a problem somewhere that needs attention. Either in procedures, ineffective delegation of kitchen duties, or priorities.Best of luck.Thank you so much for taking the time to give us your constructive feedback. Last night was one of those nights that felt like nothing was going right for us. Unfortunately those kind of nights happen for all businesses Time to Time. I certainly recognise there were some issues which can be difficult to resolve mid service when we are extremely packed out. Usually kids are fed pretty soon as the order has been placed as we can appreciate it’s best to get them fed first. We do have some new staff which are still in their learning stages and naturally will make a few mistakes in the process. There were some issues with the order dockets and the clarity of them which I need to address with the staff. I really appreciate you leaving your feedback as I can genuinely tell you want to help us improve. I always check in with my front of house staff regarding the well-being of each customer/table as I take pride in providing the best service, food & experience. I will be meeting with all my staff to discuss the areas which require improvement. Thank you again for your feedback. Please send me your details directly to [email protected] do that I can organise something for you. Many thanks,Gianna

We were here a couple of years ago when it first opened and it was crap. Flies, cockroaches and staff sitting on the kitchen floor using their phones. Our chicken and salmon dishes were both undercooked. Even the woman behind me was complaining about her food. I told my colleague at the time and she was also telling me about her bad experience whilst out with her family. My husband refused to ever go back but I decided one night while he was out at work that I would take my daughter and give them another chance. I had the biggest hard narrow piece of plastic in my burger, seriously, no smaller than 7cm long. I told them and they offered me 50% off my dish. As if I was going to pay for that. They agreed to not charge me only after a bit of fuss. I was so disappointed as I was looking forward to trying the beef brisket but the meat was tough and crispy so that burger was totally not worth it. I will never go back!!!!!!Oh, and they send me these promotional sms' and I reply stop or whatever it is they require to opt out and I get a response saying not understood (or something along those lines). Seriously only scabs that don't know food eat here.Good Afternoon,Thank you for your Feedback A R.Your feedback is important and will be passed onto our management team to investigate further. We would love to gather more information. Please call us on 13000 13000 or email us at [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from you.Regards,John - Customer Service.

Pizza in the Pan

The food tastes good. The best thing, however, is that they are reliably good. We have never had a bad experience here. We almost always order the same pizzas, sometimes delivered and occasionally pickup. Their pizzas are always perfect, the right amount of topping (not too much, not too little), never soggy, never greasy/oily. We recommend the Wyong special (all meat) and the garlic pizza entree
