Went with friends who live nearby during my beach vacay in Chelem. Missing some down home comfort food. Phenomenal is all I can say fro the jungle atmosphere to the family staff to the food. Just made my trip to Chelem complete. Looking forward to their liquor license so I can have some great wine with my amazing meal. If youâre in the Yucatan you MUST eat here. Gracias to the staff and to my friends for recommendations like this place. See you guys in April on my next trip to Chelem

Our first cisit to this restaurant was during a norte at Christmas in 2017. We were so pleasantly surprised to find this gem, we have been back repeatedly throughout 2018! Although I love the pastas, my husband is enchanted by the grilled mero with garlic which is always a huge, thick chunk and tastes like steak! Our friends rave over the pizza which is baked in a woodfire pizza oven. Service is pretty good and the windows offer views over the malecon to the beach and Gulf. We have never been disappointed and if you live or vacation at the beach, it is nice to get a good quality dinner without driving to Merida.

David's has become a popular place not just for it's food but also for the entertainment offered on several nights a week.Some nights it is a guitarist playing everybody's favorites and other nights its a seasoned entertainer for a great night of sing-a-longs and on other s he provides a 3 man combo. Call for details.The food is very good. The pizzas are a thin crust and you can mix and match the ingredients, I like my pizzas spicy and always ask for Jalapeños to be added.Dave is a great host and his jovial demeanour will make you feel welcome. his wife Conchita is a great cook and offers some great Mexican specials.
