We visit Giovanni's quite a bit. There is a large menu from pizza (which is the best in town to me), various pasta dishes, Greek dishes, steaks, great grilled pork chops, seafood and sandwiches. Count on being greeted at the door as if you were walking into your own home. The staff is always friendly and beyond prompt. A Sunday buffet with pizza, salad bar and various meats and veggies mean that they are always packed, especially after church. A pizza buffet is offered Monday - Saturday and is a great price. Wednesday evenings offer an Italian buffet with various pasta dishes, a salad bar and different meat offerings. The simmered Italian sausage or meatballs in a red gravy (or sauce) are my favorite, much like what I had growing up. The prices are great and the food is good. I took away one star because some of the food is frozen not fresh but it's still pretty good. My family and I have been customers as long as they have been open and love it.

After a great afternoon at palisades park, my wife said let's get something quick so we can get back to watch the Bama game. They were fast and friendly. Food was very good and restaurant was clean.

I ordered a pizza online and was given a pick-up time. My husband drove to Pizza Hut, paid for his pizza, and was asked to pull forward. After 45 minutes he gave up and asked for his money back. They told him that if he would wait another 45 minutes his pizza would be ready. No apology or explanation was given. We were very disappointed and we won't be ordering carry out from Pizza Hut again!

Ok, so I am in town on business. With an associate. We have been traveling, just got to hotel. Pretty much a sleepy town! So we decide to order Domino's. It should be no problem right?Well neither of us want pizza. But a tin of Chicken Alfredo, and a sub, seem reasonable. That's what we order. The food shows up, seems great. But we ask. No plates? Or Napkins? One fork? The driver explains. Well those are things you should have mentioned! I used to deliver pizzas once upon a tiime. I had, plates, and napkins, and frequently asked for stuff. Red pepper, parmesan cheeze. Cups etc. Seems like a forward thinking delivery guy would just keep these things in car? I did like to have my bases covered. There is a tip at stake here! Well this dude Trys to lay a guilt trip on us. Wrong idea. Tip = zero! So I see delivery insurance commercial. I call the store! The guy on phone doesn't know anything about delivery insurance. I inform him. You are trying to justify incompetence! I will call corporate. But I decide to call back. Maybe I got a rookie, or a special needs person? Well, Josh seems more capable? I explain the whole thing again. Once again, this guy went straight to defending a lack of seemingly simple customer service. If a order comes from a hotel, it should be assumed. They might needs some napkins and plates. And possibly some spices? Seems simple.I never wanted any form of compensation! I just wanted them to raise their game! Apparently, out of towners, Improving the overall economy of basically a one horse town. Are overly demanding? We ate off a torn up box! The store is less than a mile away. I would have been apologetic! And over delivered! I doubt I will order from this store again ever!
