My daughter just lives for pizza. We try any and all pizza places around. We recently moved to this part of the state and of course my daughter spotted this location. My husband and I really didn't want to go because of our experiences with other locations of this chain. But, we finally agreed and what a surprise. Clean, very nice employees and best of all pizza cooked the way it should be. We have already been back a couple of times.

Staff seemed nice enough. I hope they get their act together. Downtown desperately needs good restaurants.Ordered pizza to go on a Thursday since 1/2 price was advertised online. Was told when I got there that the 1/2 price was dine-in only. Okay. Perhaps specifying that online would be nice. I didn't complain.The pizza itself looked like it was a pre-frozen, but it was the toppings (or lack thereof) that caused me to take the pizza back and ask for my money back. In all honesty, I could have gotten a better pizza at dominoes for about half the price. The staff was nice and admitted they had been very busy all day. I got my refund but I doubt I'll go back. The pathetic level of toppings on the pizza was so off-putting, I don't really care to find out what they would give me on a good day. Two stars for nice staff giving me a refund. Hope they make improvements.

This is a great little pizza place and has a nice outside area on the boardwalk in Ellijay. We tried the thin crust pizza and it was amazing!! Prices are very reasonable and service was very good. Looking forward to returning and trying the cauliflower crust!!

Pizza cooked over a wood fire always has a unique taste to it and some better than others. This place does a good job with it. All pizza is the same size and a limited selection available. Tasty for sure and one pizza was enough for both of us. Hoping they add a gluten free pizza soon. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive although she never offered her name. Worth a visit.

Took a walk to the Hitching Post on a night when downtown could not handle the crowds. Felt so welcomed by the folks at Hitching Post. Wonderful, freshly made pizza. We choose to "picnic" in the store and enjoyed sampling some of the draft brews. The pizza was good when freshly made and still good a day later. Loved it! The toppings were so fresh and generous. Good pizza is really hard to find in Ellijay and just about everywhere. Looking forward to going back!

You wouldn't tell by looking, but this place has the best pizza around! But be prepared, this isn't NY Style, Flat Bread, or Deep dish - this is hearty tasting brick oven pizza. We live in Ellijay and tried this place a couple of months ago. Now we're ordering a few times a month. And it's very reasonably priced. I'm glad to see they're always busy. I hope they're around for a long time.

Needed something easy for the Georgia game New years day. Got a Pizza from Papa's. It was very good. also got garlic bread. The pizza was very good - thin crust. The garlic bread was ok but not much garlic taste.PS - this restaurant is not a part of the national chain Papa's Pizza.
