I went there with another Italian colleague and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. You need to know where it is as it was a bit difficult to find, but once you are there Pizzas are fantastic and authentic.... most customers there were Italians, which is a good sign... certainly best pizza place in Basel.

Quite disappointed. The staff were friendly enough and the food was good but not exceptional. My wife couldnât finish all hers so asked if she could take the rest away. Sure was the answer, then it all fell apart. The waitress dropped the fork on the floor, picked it up and proceeded to put it on the food about to be taken away. Then paying by Euros we discovered they had the worst "exchange rate" of anywhere we have been to in Basel.

Had to organize a casual dinner for 30 friends and colleagues who had travelled to Basel. Ressliryttiâs team was extremely patient and accommodating to all our requests, including last minute guest additions just 6 hours prior to our actual dinner. Their menu is only available in German, but if you give them a friendly phone call or email prior the staff would be happy to assist with translating the menu items into English for easier perusal.We were allowed to choose from two main course options (beef vs salmon), including a third vegetarian one for some of our guests with dietary preferences. Very few restaurants in Basel offer individual menu choices for large groups (i.e. most places insist on a unitary menu if you are also requesting for a separate vegetarian option), which made it difficult to choose on behalf of the entire party.Would definitely recommend the pizzas - great variety, thin crust, full of flavour. Donât forget to order some homegrown wine, and try their Pinot Grigio as well.We had a splendid evening at Resslirytti, and would urge you to consider having your meal here especially if youâre visiting with a large group. The restaurant is also in a very convenient location literally a few steps away from the Wettsteinplatz tram stop, which is just 4 stops by tram from Basel SBB Train Station.

Had a dinner meal here and was absolutely fantastic, the restaurant is spacious and wide tables unlike the ones squeezed together in most big cities,The Risotto was absolutely fantastic the one with the Mushrooms. The service very friendly as well, considering it was a Saturday night and packed the waitress of the table was absolutely friendly and had time to explain everything and smile. We would like to thanks Ms. Nadia from the restaurant Would definitely be back

This was my second visit to The Kitchen as I was so impressed with the first one. The pizzas here are of superior quality and taste and this visit was no exception. I tried the Colosseo 15CHF (Pomodoro, Mozzarella, Aubergine, Zucchini, Cherry Tomaten, Oliven). This stuff is really mouthwatering good food! The staff is always friendly and helpful, the ingredients are fresh and after your pizza is removed from the oven the staff cuts and boxes your piping hot pizza to go. I always head over to the Rheinufer and enjoy the pizza surrounded by the great backdrop of the city architecture. An enjoyable visit every time. Highly recommended!Grazie mille. !

I joined my wife and a friend of ours for lunch at this restaurant. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The indide decirum is just lovely with walls like in an Italian castle wine cellar and tasteful Italian bistro style furnishings. We took the lunch special, cognilio (rabbit) as a ragu with risotto which was beautifully seasoned. I had a glass of the house red amusingly called âMolliantiâ which was a valpollicella and just lovely. Delicious Italian coffee and biscotti to finish and not too expensive price tag.

Restaurant in Freidorf that is a pleasant location to have a glass of wine after a hectic day. Ambiance is nice and quiet. Service is a little inconsistent because staff is preparing for dinner and their is a shift change around 17:00, but that does not take away from from a restful place to unwind.

This restaurant serves authentic Italian pizza that is cooked out of the oven. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is good. I ordered a spicy calabressa pizza with mushrooms and olives. The only compliant that I had is that the pizza could have been cooked a little longer in the oven. But overall the pizza was fine. The staff was very friendly and they spoke Italian.
