This tiny food court restaurant was a real surprise. All food authentic, bread included was baked to order. Food you could get in much more expensive restaurants in a food court. Lucky people living nearby! We tried to different grilled foods. A lot of sides were included. The place had even traditional stews which also looked delicious. Service was friendly and personal, although it is a food court place.

Mezeh is similar to Cava in its offeringsâfreshly made-to-order bowls and pitas with your choice of a variety of ingredients. Mezeh has a few more choices than Cava and the food is good. There is a significant difference in ambience. Mezehâs is warm and inviting and stylish, where Cavaâs is plain utilitarian. Mezeh also has a sizable, pleasant outdoor seating area that looks like it will be enjoyable in warmer weather. Prices are similar to Cava, just shy of $10/entree. Dera Restaurant serves Pakistani dishes that appeal to diverse subcontinent population as well as Americans. We visited the place along with about a hundred guests for a Sunday afternoon buffet which was quite satisfying, including Paya, Nihari, chicken jalfrezi and puri. Service is ok, no complains there. Located in Brookfield Plaza, it has easy access to main thoroughfares. The place deserves four and a half stars, but I would be generous to give them a five. Lovers of spicy food is welcome here.

The prices are very good compared to other kabob restaurants and the food is delicious. The staff is very unprofessional to say the least. About 50% of the staff is courteous but the other 50% are not. I tolerated this atmosphere for a couple of years but I couldn't take it any more even though the food is great. See for yourself if you get better service than what I've experienced you'll be happy as the food is the best.

I love kabobs and was not disappointed at all with this place. I ordered the steak kabob with a side of chickpeas. You get one side and so I ordered an additional side of potatoes. The food was delicious and the staff were very nice and professional. The dining area is simple but comfortable and there is a television. If in the area I definitely recommend you stop by and try out the food. It can be a little hard to miss despite sitting at the corner of a row of other business.

This was my first experience with this type of cuisine. We ordered the sambousa with vegetables appetizer. It was very good, but the size of the pieces were smaller than anticipated. We also ordered the shafout to share. This "soup" is served cold and it reminds me of a gazpacho. It tasted good, but the way it is served makes it difficult to eat. It is served in a large shallow dish. The "soup" is layered on top of the spongy bread. We were provided with spoons and small plates. It was very difficult to spoon onto a plate and then essentially eat a soup off a salad plate. I would have enjoyed it much more if it were served with bowls. Also, in the picture on the menu it featured pomegranate seeds and that was one of the reasons I ordered it, but there were no pomegranate seeds on it. For my entree I ordered the beef fahsa. It was delicious. I ate every last bite and used the pita bread to clean the bottom of the bowl!

You know how many reviews close with the familiar promise to return again. Weâll fit Afghan Bistro it is is SO TRUE! Once you have tasted these incredible authentic tastes you make this a favorite destination even when it means traveling hundreds of miles to get here! The goat and the lamb were phenomenal! The veggie dishes, especially the roasted squash are sensational! We arrived around 9:30 and still the place was packed!
