This is a good afghani restaurant with a back garden patio that is very comfortable for summer.The food is well prepared, I recommend one of the menus where it is possible to taste the various flavors offered by the chef.

Tremendously high temperatures make it desirable, whenever a railway stopover keeps you close to the station, to find some shady oasis, some welcoming, comforting place : not so unlikely to reach, should you know exactly where to go - or follow your instinct. In Lausanne, try the Café du Simplon, just down the North escalator. In Geneva, "Nomades" in the Grottes area (restored, friendly, surprising) will bless you with mezzés, Mediterranean (and moderately priced) delicacies, and space (outdoor as well as indoor).
