Izzo's specializes in Roll Your Own(R) options including burritos, tacos, bowls, nachos, quesadillas and salads filled with high quality meats and fresh ingredients.
Although I thought the burrito was good, the flavor of the meat and ingredients didn't pop like at a Chipotle. They have the same set up as a Bullritos or a Chipotle as you can build your own burrito, nachos etc. They do have a selection of their own homemade sauces you can get a cup of for your nachos at no extra cost so that was pretty good. But overall good for lunch and if it's around next time I'll probably stop back by

First off, Lake Charles and the area has been overrun with Mexican restaurants and this one has ran its course. Regular Mexican food, nothing fancy. It seems everyone thinks this is the only place in LC to go, but there are plenty that are cheaper, better, and no long waits for microwave food. I think most go there for the Margaritas and know it has a lot of space. Problem is, they fill all that space and it is loud. Service is sometimes a little slow. Again, food is average but if someone invites us there, we will go. If traveling to Lake Charles don't by the hype about this place.

Came here on date night with my amazing girlfriend. Chips, salsa & cheese dip were all good. I had the grilled chicken smothered in onions, peppers & cheese with a side of grilled shrimp. My girl had the tamales. Mine was a bit lack luster. It was decent, but nothing to write home about. The tamales were a tad spicy but were good. The margaritas were outstanding. The ambiance/atmosphere was great. The staff were all very friendly. The view, as you can see was great. Sunset on the sea wall... always beautiful! All in all, not bad. A bit too pricey for me though. Iâm sure weâll be back eventually, maybe try something different, but probably not anytime soon ââï¸

Menudo, street tacos, burritos and more. Freshly made tortillas, horchata, enchiladas ...and more! All served with a smile by family and friends dashing through the open kitchen to serve you quickly and efficiently. You order at the window and if the line gets too long someone will emerge from the kitchen to expedite your order. Food comes out from the kitchen quickly and accurately. Flavorful green and red sauces are available on request. This is a friendly, unpretentious place with decent prices. Personal favorites are the barbacoa burrito, the chicharron or cactus soft tacos...the chorizo and egg breakfast tacos...and my husband is a fan of the flavorful menudo.

Delicious tapas and signature items that include favorites such as carnitas guadalajara, fajitas, tacos al carbon, the cadillac mexicana burger, and of course, enchiladas! Make sure to leave room for dessert and enjoy the delectable sopapillas or tres lec
It's hard to ruin Mexican food in a chain restaurant, and therefore it was acceptable. The service was poor to average. Again chain restaurant that obviously caters to a hard drinking customer base. The seating was amazingly uncomfortable however upon asking other patrons what they thought, " Who cares, want another shot"?

I love this place. As soon as we walk in they know what we want. Small town, so if you go enough they will remember you. It always seems pretty clean the employees are always super nice. I would recommend the Steak Queso Fundito, so good. however, if you are watching your sodium.....don't eat there. I get bloated like a pig but don't care, it is so good. The cheese dip is runny and yummy! Margaritas are really good as well. They have a convenient drive-thru as well. We go at least once a week and are never disapointed.

Went on a Thursday night and was surprised to find live music that was very entertaining. The food was great we went with the gumbo and the half shrimp poor boy with bowl of gumbo and fries. There was more than enough shrimp on the sandwich and everything was tasty and well prepared. The staff was very attentive and the food came after a short ticket time. We had planned on going to another similar business two doors down but it was dead and this place was jumping. Interesting concept with seafood and Mexican food, best of both worlds collide.
