This has been our favorite Mexican restaurant for years and years. I think it was April 2019 when the restaurant was closed for a week with no explanation. After that, and for the past three times we have gone there, we have had strangely poor service, and then excellent service by our favorite server Rafael, and this third time on Saturday, 22 June, the lady (possibly the owner because she has almost always been there on a Saturday) and usually greeted, she us was not there. The very young Hostess said Rafael wasn't working but we saw him working outside in the patio area. Interesting! It was about 3 pm in the afternoon. We were told it would be about a 15 minute wait. We waited for over 45 minutes and then just left, disappointed. Very disappointed! I am unsure if we will attempt to go again, and that is very sad indeed! What happened? Did the long time owners retire or sell the Hacienda? If so we can no longer recommend this restaurant after our experiences so far in 2019.

So, for several years now I have been frequenting this restaurant. It had become one of my favorites until my most previous visit. We had just finished our meal (myself and my four kids) and had just received our receipt for paying the bill when one of my kids noticed something 'swimming' in the clear salsa container. I thought that they were being cute, but sure enough there were a few tiny black bugs we could see through the side of the container, 'swimming' in the salsa we had just been eating shortly before.I'm not going to bore you with the response that they had, but just to say that it was insufficient and I am letting everyone know in every fashion possible that this restaurant serves food with live bugs in it.*** DO NOT EAT HERE ***

When the kids and I go there we always have great service, good food and it doesn't ever take long for our food to come out. We love their chips and white cheese sauce we always get it. Then we get their Brisket Nachos YUMMY!!!, the kids get the kids taco with latin fried potatoes, and its always been good !!! We love going there. For my daughters 14th birthday she wanted a Fuzzy Taco T-shirt so we got it for her and its her favorite <3We love this review!! Thanks for being such loyal Fuzzy's fans!! We love to hear how much you all enjoy the queso and the brisket nachos! They are a crowd favorite! We are honored that your daughter wanted to celebrate her birthday with us!! We can't wait to have you all back to hang out soon!
