I was near the solitude village at the bottom of the apex express and saw the slopeside bldg named âlast chance lodgeâ and a pile of ski racks outside figured there must be a place to eat there.So itâs a cafeteria style setup serving Mexican American food. I ended up ordering a bowl of soup got a small discount when I showed my ikon pass.

The restaurant located on a very old building is located on Main Street, the decor very Mexican and well decorated with a fireplace and statues of saint and angels , tables of wood and water glassware of pewter, the waiter Silvano, couldnât have asked for better service and great recommendations, my wife had the Halibut, I had the carne asada, both mouth watering, we accompanied the food with an Albariño , and desert coconut flan and guava sherbet, we will definitely return Thank you for the lovely review of Chimayo. This is always a great place to stop into for lunch or dinner. They have lots of healthy options and some of your traditional classics. My favorite is the salsa bar. Check this place out. You will be stoked.
