As a result, the early rural atmosphere of the community has been lost over the past 30 years. As of the 2010 census, the village's population was 22,763. Can't believe this place wasn't listed on Trip Advisor - they will probably need a bigger storefront now that I added them and am reviewing them :)EXCELLENT steak tacos - and we LOVE the salsa bar....one of the best dishes they have is the elotes.... best one I've found in the area so far. Interesting twist on the steak tacos - grilled red onions. Typically you get raw onions and cilantro on a Mexican style taco - this was different, but really good!The place is a little small - which with as busy as they've been the few times we have been there is a little concerning because you never know if you'll get a seat....this is a good and bad thing. They have a few taco options that have an Indian fusion thing going on - I haven't eaten an entire taco, but I did taste one my husband had - and it was pretty good. Not exactly the combination one would expect, but it works. This is a place where you pay before you sit down, but you do get chips and salsa at the table - and you don't pay extra for it. They do serve you at the table when your food is ready. Highly recommended.

This was our second visit since they opened and we were not disappointed. The Pina Colada was superb! They use real coconut milk vs a mix and it is a winner. We tried the ceviche ( shrimp and octopus) which was tasty and fresh. Great portions. Service was attentive but not over bearing. This is a new favorite restaurant in Roselle. Great job Julio on making Sammy's a top pick.

Very good authentic Mexican food. Hand made and not that "food" you get at Taco Bell or even the Chipotle type restaurants. Quick service and a good variety on the menu. Always fresh and made to order. Smaller run location but so much better that the chain food you find elsewhere. If you like REAL Mexican this is the place for you.

Stopped in for lunch while working in the area. Had the Beef Burrito, Taco and a soda. No complaints with the food or the service. Employees were very polite and the food was served quickly and there were no issues with the order. Not a bad stop at all!
